If it’s going to be under 180 I am taking it over note 9s. I will happily sacrifice 20% soc power over amoled and better battery life.

well, it has an AMOLED screen, you have more choice, note 10 better screen and worse processor, and POCO or other redmi phones worse screen and better processor, until now only the latter was available. I actually think I might choose the better screen, I’ve learned that nowadays processor is not that important (I only use whatsapp and chrome xdd) I have a 4 year old redmi 4x that has a sd 625 and I don’t even feel it that slow, yes it hangs from time to time but nothing exaggerated

This right here. I was looking at the Redmi Note 9 pro or the Poco NFC and the Redmi Note 10 pro looks to have the same literal exact specs as the Poco NFC including high refresh screen and 732g chipset and same battery size. Redmi Note 10 pro is a letdown.

It’s annoying but the English title guarantees them more clicks. YouTube tech videos are dominated by Indian YouTubers. I haven’t found a way to exclude non English content videos so far. I wouldn’t mind a non English content video if I could access English subtitles

Really? While I feel like the display on my K20 is the greatest, most visually appealing thing ever.

Maybe just because I have always been used to cheaper phones – cheaper displays, but I don’t really feel like that. Will a Galaxy Note Ultra’s display blow my mind then, lol?

yep, I am considering also, but AMOLED on the cheap phone doesn’t sound reassuring.

I replaced my cousin’s A40 screen, and the screen itself is like 40%+ of the total cost of the phone. You didn’t even get the always-on display. It is a decent quality display since is Samsung’s but you sacrifice too much of everything else for me to be worth it.

    If a normal RN10 with IPS screen doesn’t have 90 or 120hz display I probably won’t upgrade.

Dont get me wrong OLED truly better for watch video. Its amazing

But i need touch sampling more 🙂 That refresh rate really gamechanger, can response faster and more fluid with poco x3

Cheers for xiaomi provide choice to customer

It’s not a question of aesthetics. Glass and plastic nearly look identical. Except one feels like a toy.

yes tactile aesthetics is important for a few people but I’d argue 90% of people put phone cases on their phone in week 1 so it doesn’t matter. Additionally plastic are more resistant to shattering when dropped. I prefer plastic because I’m about function not form.

Once again, not talking about aesthetics. The X3 will break many times more easily than the Note 9. Gorilla glass 5 on both sides is far superior. It doesn’t need a case.

I don’t blame you for being disappointed about the specs on the note 10. Have you seen the specs on the note 9? They’re shit. The note 9s and 9pro however, are quite impressive for the price point (As is the X3).

My point…. Personally I’m waiting to be disappointed until I see the specs and price for the note 10 pro (possibly pro max or something too). And

I’m was only looking forward to the ‘pro’ variants of the 9 and 10. I agree the non-pro variants are trash.

Same here, I’m ok waiting 1 more day to cement the dissapointment that the promise of a bigger battery on the redmi note 10 pro was false and the processor is the same as the Poco X3.

We can share our disappointment tomorrow. I’m hopeful we’ll be pleasantly surprised. But ready to be disappointed…

Well, if true, then this might be my future phone after the price drops a bit by the fall. I dont mind 765G, its a solid processor, battery should also be fine. I will have to push my Mi8 a little bit more.

I wouldn’t, the difference from a flagship SoC to a mid-range SoC is pretty massive, even if they are years apart

That’s the one of the most little part of Urdu and he greeted that way because he’s in Pakistan and follows Islam , the rest is hindi because I can understand him (feel free to use auto detect in google translate )

what do you mean a letdown, do you know how incredible is it to include an AMOLED screen for that price? Let alone 120Hz!!

Typing and reading English is much much easier, and the algorithm also prefers it.

No one would search for this exact video in hindi language, even if they’re looking for a hindi audio.

English title opens to more clicks.

If you are after a decent camera experience, the Redmi Note 10 is probably a well equipped smartphone than the Mi Note 10. It has a camera for every situation. Sure, the camera experience could use a bit more work via future updates, but even in this stage, it is certainly the phone’s highlight feature.

The Mi Note 10 is not the best smartphone on the market, but it does have a pretty reasonable design, hardware, and an unmatched set of cameras. Despite that, the phone lacks a rated water resistance feature. The Snapdragon 855 would have been better alternative for a similar range criteria. Its low-light photos by the zoom cameras and the ultra-wide one are nothing great as such. The Video recording quality is not something you would go wow on either. Upscaling the 5MP 5x photos to 8MP makes no sense especially with the lack of Android 10 update.
