K20 is not available in Europe. Xiaomi doesn’t market it in Europe. The problem comes from Xiaomi fans that think every phone release by Xiaomi means is geared towards them when Xiaomi has clear strategy of targeting different regions.
The casual European customer will have never heard of K30 series, as only Mi9T is marketed in that region. That’s the entire point. Only Xiaomi stans will know it’s a rebrand. But really does it matter?
Damn, now it’s actually better than mi 9t oh well I still love it. These things always happen 🙂 I still got the pretty holographic back design 😀
Yeah, i dont get why they have the redmi brand rebranded in europe
But a first timer (western) Xiaomi user will not know about the k20
Finally something without a camera punchhole. God I love full screen display and was losing hope for an upgrade to my OnePlus 7 pro and mi9t.
K30 is already out on China did they mean international version ?
How much tho?
Non pro already out.
It’s not confirmed, but it seems like there’ll be an Amoled display.
No notch no putting sticker on the front facing camera for privacy
No wireless charging, right?
Not confirmed but very likely. Especially since they define it a “true flagship” in the post above.
Yeah, very confusing, I wish they’d just use the Xiaomi brand.
yes if they can identify me using my dick and feet then I would put sticker on the rear cameras
Ah yeah misread
How does this model compare to Mi 10 (Pro)?
Because K20 is known as the 9T (pro) in Western markets
Probably in the pro version with a mid range sd in the non pro
Sd865?
Oh lord, why are they doing this still..
That is my assumption, considering they rebranded the K30 as the Poco X2.
No notch? Great!
LCD and not AMOLED still right?
>5G pioneer, true flagship
>See you in March
K30 Pro*
Since the K30 is coming out as the Pocophone X2 I’m assuming the K30 Pro is coming out as Pocophone F2, but this is just my speculation.
That’s why you should double check your title
Yes it was them! But I doubt they’ll be using it on a cheaper flagship like this. I think we’ll see them in the next Mi Mix at best.
Will this be ReBranded as POCO F2?
They didn’t say anything. The K20 Pro doesn’t have wireless charging, but they may have added it here.
And this will probably end up being true poco f2 imho
Just ignore the k stuff , those are phones meant for China
I would prefer like Samsung S9 with proper stereo speakers
I love the pop up camera. no Notch is way better
Honestly it looked okay, yeah there was a part of the display that the quality and color looked off because of the camera but I’d accept that if it doesn’t looks too disturbing (unless I’m really looking at it up close)
And I’m sure they already made a lot of improvement on it already, the video was posted two months ago
SD 865 was confirmed by Lu Weibing even before that teaser.
It was just another Xiaomi marketing gimmick, I can’t believe people still fall for their shit. They are known for showing nowhere near ready technologies to get some hype. And since youtubers will hype everything up for clicks… well
I remember when this subreddit thought under-screen-cameras were already coming last year in Mi Note 10 lmao. Well they aren’t coming even this year. Nor the next. They even said themselves.

I thought so too first but the successor for F1 makes more sense since its using a flagship chipset
This made me stare in anger at the camera hole on my K30.
im guessing it’s because of all the Indians complaining on Twitter because “Poco is dead”
im really confused as to what that entails and how Poco existing simply as a brand really affects them.
“Redmi K30 confirmed for March” is the title, the K30 is already out
Confirmed by XDA

To be fair, combining your lower body with metadata like location and time can narrow things down a bit.
i don’t think Xiaomi would be *that* stupid to use a MediaTek chip.
The one they showed looked like shit
Yes, it was confirmed a couple of days ago in weibo.
I agree, they will probably release it first in Mi Mix series.
Hard to say right now… Probably just as powerful, but with a worse camera, mono audio and a worse (but still excellent) display. If the K30 Pro will end up being as cheap and as good as the K20 Pro I’d definitely choose that instead of the Mi 10. But then again we’re are talking about a phone that hasn’t even been announced yet.
There are marketing reasons for them not to label everything under one brand.
It doesn’t
the return of the pop up camera
Sooo does this have another name too? Wasn’t the K20 also the 9t?
Mi 9, Mi9 lite, Mi9SE, Mi9T, Mi9TPro, K20, K20 pro, K20 pro premium…Mi 9 series is way worse beyond confusing for a first timer to Xiaomi.
