how much do you guys thinks it will cost?
Isn’t that the OnePlus 7 wallpaper?
Nope, similar but different
400usd
Non-pro version should be at 350$ If they call this #flagship#killer
Thats just how much my budget can expand tbh
But i have read the K20 pro has IPS LCD screen.
Not possible knowing under display fingerprint needs AMOLED
Hope so
Why this cheaper than Mi9?
Mi9 is a flagship phone. The same thing happened last year when Xiaomi released Pocophone F1, with almost identical specs to the Mi8 at a markedly lower price. This too happened within a very short time frame, so it’s nothing new.
Any Mi9 pros vs K20?
Plus no wireless charging or NFC or Glass Back or OLED on Poco. Otherwise the sepcs and aesthetics of the phones are pretty much the same.
Link to Source?
Wow! The chin is not as bad as I thought it would be. This seems to be the perfect phone! This will be my next phone!!
This isn’t going to be poco f2 because besides having flagship chip it will also have in-display (&hopefully fast) fingerprint sensor, AMOLED all screen design, pop up camera and the rest standard flagship features.
The poco f2 will probably be a normal teardrop LCD screen design with rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for $300. (With 855 chip)
This is my theory for now. What do you guys think? Maybe xiaomi will surprise us and add new features in the pocophone f2? Hopefully..
Once you go AMOLED it’s much easier to flex the screen at the bottom to not have a fat chin like there is on LCD based displays
Global release with Band 20 LTE and hopefully more please.
Or make the global one the Poco 2.
I’m so in.
Better camera, wireless charging and I hope more premium materials since my Mi9 is on the way 🙁
I hope that the next Mi 10 will get rid of the teardrop notch, I get used to it and I love the phone, but this display looks more immersive in the end. Anyway, in the launch of the Poco f1 it appeared many bugs and problems related to the display so I wouldn’t be an early adopter.
I think good chance, we will just have to wait month or two after launch
Non pro 710 version will be around 1999cny Iguess, since the 855 only costs 2599cny
NFC Confirmed
400€
It will be called “Xiaomi Mi 9T (Pro)” in Europe, so it will probably cost around €500

You mean 730?
Before the poco f1 came out, sd845 was a flagship feature as well.
How do we know this is not the mix 3 though?
Huawei Mate 20 (non pro) has an LCD screen and smaller bottom bezel than the Pro OLED version: https://cdn.gsmarena.com/imgroot/reviews/18/huawei-mate-20-pro/gal/-1024w2/gsmarena_010.jpg
So I don’t think it’s entirely true, probably just cheaper and safer to give a phone Jay Leno chin.
I edited my post. The poco f2 will definitely have the 855. But what do you think it’ll have more considering the price is kept at $300?
Personally I feel that the poco f2 won’t be priced at $300. To be the OnePlus killer(my guess, seeing their recent tweets) an amoled panel is a must now dont you think? A sd855 with an amoled(with no notch) is almost too good to be true at $300 I feel. If it happens though it will be great for users like us.
Mi9 SE is 1999cny ($290USD). No possible way the K70 can be more expensive than that. It must be cheaper.
If it is Android one like someone had rumored before it will definitely be my next phone!
>on Poco
He was talking about the Poco phone. 🙂
The SD730 is about the same as 2017 Flagship CPUs
It’s not. That rumor was from a photoshopped image of a Twitter status
Too rich for my blood. I opted for the redmi Note 7 pro when it was on flash sale. 1499 cny.
My MI9 is on the way, should i sell it when it gets here for what i paid and get a K20 pro? looks better than the MI9 if im honest.
You can try the mi mix series
Poco f2 will be 250$ & is a “flagship killer” killer
K20 pro is a flagship killer & will be around 350-400$
I would love this phone but I’m afraid it won’t happen to have the same level of band support my Mi MIX 3 has.
Good one, anyway if they are trying to compete OnePlus.. i would say OnePlus feels more premium in terms of design, screen and everything. And on top of that Oxygen OS which is known for clean os.
6.4 inches diagonally
K70?
Its not. But as soon as Xiaomi releases kernel source code (usually a couple of months after a phone’s release) there there will certainly be a LineageOS build for it.
I want a screen with corners so sharp I could prick my finger on them. Give me that sweet 90 degree rectangle.
Mi8 and Mi9 are priced targeting sales from people who would normally by a Samsung galaxy.
Pocofone F1, and K20, very similar phones to those above, are priced targeting sales from people in India and other developing countries who couldn’t dream of affording a flagship phone like that.
I’m hoping for that sweet band 28.
Y, but from all I read, K20 looks about same as Mi9, but a lot cheaper. That’s why I was wondering. Anyway, I’m about 2 weeks from buying new phone…
Zenfone 6 has LCD display and shorter chin.
gotchu

Then don’t?
Can’t beat the 90hz screen that all the reviewers are raving about too. But if the K20 Pro is half the price, I’m fine with that.
Its a great phone. Even though I like the idea of a notchless screen, my ideal is something more in the line of the oneplus 7pro, but its already out of my budget.
And since for me design is also very important I just find the Mi 9 way more beautiful than the k20. So happy future owner of a Mi 9
Damn. this is look gorgeous, and cheaper than Black Shark 2
the k20 isnt even out yet, thats a bold assumption based on pics only.
Maybe they put extra effort on bending the LCD display, I dunno why on some phones the chin ending up being so fat.
Still a full amoled screen with no notch, as long as they provide perfect touch screen like the mi9, I think I’ll buy one and give my pocophone to a family member.
