Redmi 9 # when typing

Hi all, I’m wanted to know if someone could help me with something.

My father’s Redmi 9 recently started to give him some problems when typing. From time to time, whenever he tries to type something, be it in WhatsApp or Google or anything, it just gets stuck with a # in the text area, and you can’t type anything. It comes and goes, and we haven’t been able to identify the culprit.

If anyone could help me I’d appreciate.

    Try to update the keyboard, it might help you!

    And try another keyboard if you can, cauz I had typing issues and I was using Google Keyboard aka Gboard and when I updated it my typing issues were solved!

    I meant the keyboard app

    The virtual keyboard which we have in our smartphone screen!

    There are three ways to update the keyboard app –

    1. Through play store or
    2. By side loading the apk file!

    It’s weird that you do not know about this
