Yep, just happened with me, probably just a Reddit bug, from their recent update
Why everyone’s is Xiaomi but me with samsung s23 having the same issue

It’s been happening to me the last two days. Think it was after an update. Xiaomi 15 Ultra
Happening since yesterday. I thought display settings must be changed. I checked all everything is proper so reddit bug.

My device is Xiaomi 14Ultra and it happens to me too sometimes. Not only on Redit but also on Instagram.
Its all android’s updated to the latest Reddit version
Yes after new update its happening hopefully Reddit fixes the bug annoying
