When I was sleeping last night, I heard conversations and noise like in an airport from my Pocophone F1. I heard it twice and recorded the second one. It sounds like some Slavic language, if anyone could give a clue.
– Phone: Pocophone F1
– Location: China
– Time: 2020-1-8 7:00 am Beijing Time. Jan 7 2020 6:00 pm New York Time.
– Possible Running Apps:
– AccuBattery

– Bing
– DroidVim
– Facebook
– Google Play Games
– Jianshu
– NetEase Music
– Nova Launcher
– Outlook
– Sectograph

– Action that stopped the noise: Swipe down on the main Page.
– No visible apps at the foreground, no phone call, no music or video playing
– Never heard of it
– Two conversations are different.
I highly doubt it was MIUI or Nova Launcher.

Yes, very creepy. I am considering formating the phone or install lineage OS on it.
Well wait to see if the incident is repeated or not. If yes then try to record it

Someone was doing some spooky hacker shit and your phone just happened to be close to stumble upon it
It’s creepy, but your phone is probably having some kind of radio interference, i had a telephone that used to transmit some music radio stations
Probably a music source was left in the background after opening the webbrowser.
Had a old Nokia 3310 that would every now and then pick up on a random hearing aids……
Not to many things creep me out but this definitely did. So strange.
It wasnt slavic. It was the language of the Sith. The dead speak!!
This happened to me too. I put down my phone and went to sleep. A few minutes later I thought I was hallucinating when it really was just Firefox playing an ad in the background quietly.
However, OP’s audio sounds like a normal conversation from an airport.
Any chance you are living within a few kilometers of an airport? Maybe someone’s walkie talkie is transmitting this somehow to your phone speaker.
This is actually greek language… It sounded like YouTube was playing a video
/r/paranormal
Hey that’s greek! It sounds like a villager talking on the phone with another friend saying that someone was late. On top of that I can hear a female voice in a language I don’t understand.
I too verify this is greek language.
Something similar happened to me yesterday on my Pocophone. It sounded like a girl sobbing, it was obviously looped, but I wasn’t running any apps in the background that would cause it either.
I took a screen recording, might upload a video later. It’s a weird coincidence that someone on Reddit is having the exact same issue with the exact same phone.
Edit: Here’s the screen recording for those who are curious.

Edit 2: Someone told me this sounds like audio from a TikTok. I don’t have that app installed but it was definitely possible a video from another app was playing in the background. Mystery solved!
My dad had a virus or glitch that says something in a cliche terror film voice, but looping infinitely. But it was a ZenFone
My dad had this with a ZenFone

Indeed it’s some Greek guy explaining to some woman a situation that happened to him in an airport. Something about someone checking his passport for half an hour and I think I can hear something about overbooking right at the end.
It might be an android related bug, playing audio from supposedly closed sources.
Yesterday I had a very similar bug on my MI9, where my netflix randomly started playing audio in the background, but it didnt show up in my running applications. I only recognized it, because I watched the show a few hours earlier.
Wheres that google amp bot at?
Just in case you don’t already know – Firefox supports add-ons on Android too, so you can install uBlock origin to stop most ads.
Already have it, but thanks.
Would be interesting to see that
It’s over… They are coming.

I’ve uploaded it. It might’ve been another app in the background but I don’t really understand what I would’ve been listening to (I was listening to some songs through Spotify a the time). I was rushing between classes so I didn’t have much time to take a look.

If someone could find the origin of this sound clip that would be great. It loops, so I don’t think I was receiving any interference.
Again, there might just be something I was missing. But I’m curious either way.
I’ve read some comments and this actually kind of creeps me out. What if someone can hear my conversations. It might be security issue. You never know.
Do you use google assistant? I know there have been instances of Amazon’s Alexa randomly laughing at users.
I had accidental set the notice alarm to other voice, it maybe the reason.

For all (or most) adblocking needs, try DNS66… It’s open source and takes care of the vast majority of ads in Android.. No more sobbing girls 😅
Did it say “replace me”?
del5eted.
I hate Google amp too, but I’m lazy now
It’s best you get rid of that phone immediately
I put my phone in flight mode, turn off all connection, make DND mode and keep it away. Peace of mind.
And yes, my phone is rooted and have kept 3 apps to guard against ads, trackers and such ghosts.
Glad I am unknowingly avoiding such problems.
I had the same issue thrice. It sounds like an indian ritual singing out of nowhere twice at 5am and once at 10am. I don’t know if someone also having the same experience on their poco f1
