Yes.
What surprised me was xiaomi not launching the K20p as the poco2 outside china, it made perfect sense since lets be honest it was a redmi phone with redmi build quality, not mi-quality
It is a re branded Redmi K30 and depending on the price, Mi9T could be the better choice
Yeah Im disappointed too, unless its prices at 250€ or below idk how it Will be. I think they made the K or T Line the new Poco and downplayed the POCO to the mid range market
This is a very lame phone. Why not make an F2 and put a Snapdragon 855 Plus with a construction similar to F1? I thought the POCO line was about performance at a great price.
Yeah tho in emus I seen lack of support for that chip
Idk how to use it? I didn’t unlock the phone, just in case you are asking
No but the Xiaomi mi 9se is probably the smallest good phone you’ll find on xiaomi
How would a K30 work as a WiFi only device? Does the 730G have the latest WiFi?
I want a replacement for my wife’s honor 9 which is too large… Got it her because she wanted a good cam and it had the best can at that time and price.
Still don’t know if my cam (Mi 9T) is that much better.
Probably, but it makes sense to wait with that until the X2 is out.
Problem is customs, where i live theres a 5 percent chance that the package will be opened for inspection, if done so extra fees will be applied (import tax+administration fees).
I usually make the calculations for worst case scenario and check if the money saved from buying there is worth the try.
yeah there is a spanish site somewhere but the difference in price wasnt that big (around 40 euro) if thats the case i prefer to buy from a physical store for the customer aftercare if somethings not good with the device.
i will check that greek one ,skroutz?
Really? Thays amazing, kinda sad i bought my Redmi Note 8 por 150€now
Yeah .. they did say they will launch multiple devices.. so F2 might be on it’s way bro. Why do you think they named it X2 ? It’s a lite version.. even though a lite version.. it’s too good for that price. I mean 120 hz display and a 730g is not bad at all.
Bruh moment, same gaming performance than the RN8pro then?
It’s not in Google play store?
Nope. The smallest one you can find and decent(battery, camera) is the Mi A3. Got it, and apart from fingerprint, i’m very pleased.
Yeah now the k30 pro is the poco 3 and the k30/pocox2 is the poco 3 lite
Right?
Never again!
[Yes.](https://youtu.be/41CRdfdEoOw?t=307)
Yes sadly, that phone could’ve been so good but it would’ve surpassed the Mi10 and Xiaomi doesn’t want that…to be honest they kind of called that upon themselves by releasing so much different series, it’s kind of sad…
Snapdragon 730g guys…
Because India has no 5g yet, so launching the 5g one there makes no sense
honestly, looking at Twitter replies to any tweet made by an account even remotely associated with Xiaomi, you see a shit ton of Indians saying that they miss Poco and that Xiaomi killed it and they’ll never make a phone as good.
bro… the Redmi K20 Pro was basically the Poco F2 but without the stupid brand name just buy that ffs.
no wonder they didn’t do anything special for the Poco X2, it’s pointless.
I think even the 710 can do that so
Redmi note 8 is Snapdragon, the note 8 pro is mediatek
will the poco x2 work with at&t ? i live in the states.
i mean the k30 looks exactly the same from the outside.
Shouldn’t POCO be like top of the specs, but as cheap as possible? 730G doesn’t scream high end.
Snapdragon 730 HARD PASS
Same of the k20 , the rn8 pro is slightly better on paper
I’ve had a couple, never making that mistake again.
pretty much. idk why people are so god damn thickheaded. it’s just a sub brand, Xiaomi still makes really good phones with high end specs at cheap prices. it’s the principal, not the method.
203 euros for the 128gig version, its a bargain
Is it still within xiaomi?
Yeah but it Will drop like a Brock soon
Tried 5 sites now, hosting all links that are 404 🙁
Do you have a working link?
Im sorry, my keyboard os in portuguese and sometimes screws up
I’ve bought 2 redmis from gearbest etc. No issues. The phones are very well built.
So is there going to be a F2?
You get 120Hz Display, 64MP Sony sensor, 8 GB ram, 256GB memory, headphone jack and 27W fast charging all under 300 bucks. I would say Xiaomi has nailed it. A mid tier chipset is not the end of the world. We are seeing Poco F1 not getting much of a software update or security update here in Europe anyway and it had 845 chipset. It doesn’t really matter. The other features I listed are probably gonna impact your everyday experience with the phone much more than a flagships chipset.
EDIT:Sony*
I believe it’s LCD display. Also haven’t heard them say NfS is enabled on the launch event. They were too busy showing his Poco is superior to realme.
The question is: can the games that run @120fps make use of the 730g soc to actually run @120fps?
If you live in Europe you can always order them from online retailers for cheap. Greece has some very cheap Xiaomis. skroutz is one price aggregation.
730g on my mi note 10 is fine for gaming too, maybe this is how they keep the soc suitable for the indian market in the x2
Is there a small xiaomi phone? 5″ or even smaller? Still with a decent cam?
My bad! I mistook your typo (‘por’, instead of ‘for’), for ‘pro’.
Apologies, mate!
Cheers.
so it’s re-branded Redmi k30 4G right guys?
Indian prices…i expect a nice slap on it for 100 euros for European market
Thats a buy. Idc about the lcd screen that much anyway
Mi9Se. I don’t think it has telephoto lens but its small and 712 aint bad
I honestly can’t understand half of it with his accent.
I agree that the POCO brand was associated with that, but the phone that does that is still there, just a different name, last year it was the k20 pro mi9t pro , this year is the k30 and mi 10 t pro I assume, ithey are the successors to the poco, just different names
What is bother me in this case, is the name… Why not X1?
WHY would you even purchase a Mediatek powered device, in the first place?
They separate but i think this is still Xiaomi like Realme from Oppo
Mi A3 is the smallest Xiaomi phone you can get based on my experience. It’s resolution is 720p only to account the small size of the phone. However, it is AMOLED already with an in-display fingerprint.
Same
I didnt, they got the GCam before my phone did, its weird but i think the phone is so popular that it got a ton of support
I want a replacement for my wife’s honor 9 which is too large… Got it her because she wanted a good cam and it had the best can at that time and price.
Still don’t know if my cam (Mi 9T) is that much better.
Nope. Your best bet is a Pixel 3a. Gone are the days when the Redmi line consisted of a smaller, and very managable smaller device, with the ‘Note’ line offering a larger device (for the time) for those seeking a bigger display for content consumption.
Now it’s all the same, rehashed, over and over again!
Yeah it is, not sure why people thought it would be the 5G version

Rs. 16,999. So €215
Why is he wearing a jacket on stage
Maybe a market strategy for competing with realme X2 cause X1 sounds a bit old idk..
