The iphone X’s chin was only achieved with foldable oled screen technology. Doubtful xiaomi has this technology.
They usually have a black version and a white version. I wish they would make the emerald green version of this with the gold accents. That phone us gorgeous.

Camera doesn’t slide up. Whole display does slide down, like old sliding phones, but in opposite direction. I think that leaks are very inconsistent, but it is clearly seen on leaked teaser video, and on the laptop unlocking one.

People forget that the iPhone X still has fairly thick bezels all around, the bottom one is just over 4mm, as well as all the side bezels. Because they’re all the same size, it looks uniform.
My guess is that the chin here is a similar size but the sides are much thinner

Then don’t buy the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 if you need a bigger chin. I actually want the same chin on my Android phones as the one Apple can deliver.
The Mix 2 chin is just about big enough, without software to move the keyboard and bottom interaction stuff up this will be pretty hard to use.

I bought Poco with notch a month ago. I used selfie camera maybe twice in that month. I’m really wondering why it isn’t down there on the chin, like on Mix 2. It seems like a perfectly good place for something I so rarely use. Well, apart from the face unlock thingy.

Possibly to make the phone easier to use. I want minimal bezels but not a the expense of struggling to use the phone because my fingers/thumb arent infinitely long and flexible.
The iphone x doesn’t have a chin because the screen fold in at the bottom, meaning it doesn’t need a chin for the screen cable but the downside is an increased cost of production for the screen.
i think the phone will be relatively the same size. probably slightly larger than the mix2. with a smaller chin they gain about 1/4″ diagonal compared to the mix2 which is 5.99″.

I’m dying to see a size comparison to another phone. I can’t pinpoint how big this thing is. I was hoping it would be the same as the Mi Mix 2/2s.

Apple’s bezels are huge, but symmetric. Most Android phones have smaller side bezels and slightly bigger or same size bottom bezel when compared to the iPhone X. This makes the chin look much bigger than it is.
He’s allowed to criticise it still. The Mix 2 design is much more practical than this to me. It’s a big step backwards in function in favour of looks.
