Hi,
I use the Xiaomi 15 Ultra to take photos. I recognized that pictures are often sharper when the AI Zoom is utilized after 20x. So often the picture on 20x turns out sharper then the 17x. Is there the possibility to control that. I know it is just AI, but I think in most cases it does a really nice job until about 30x. Can I also use it on let’s say 15x?
Thanks in advance!
PS: the darker image is with AI zoom
It also has something to do with the phone switching between all the lenses
Most of the time 400 is better than 500, because less crop and no AI, but sometimes under specific conditions, the AI helps a lot
Personally, I think that the softer/ non-AI image is more realistic and pleasing. It is just a crop from the full-res HP9 sensor. I advise you to use the pro mode, switch to 200mp mode and set it however you like. In the 200mp mode the full resolution is around 16,000×12,000 pixel, even if you crop 4x (which is around 17,2x) you’ll have a fairly high res photo. In pro mode you can adjust sharpness, highlight etc… too.
I found that when using pro mode + 50/200mp you can sort of counter the forced leica vibrant color by applying the natural filter. You can also dial down exposure to your liking, whereas using the manual 50/200mp mode will lock you from adjusting anything.
There is no option to turn on under 465, 20x zoom.
