Well I don’t root coz that’s just an extra hassle to me. I just flash rom to get a clean and stock aosp experience.
I did hide it manually but still…
I read something about some apps checking bootloader status that couldn’t be hidden with magisk. I’ll give a try again anyway, maybe a newer version of magisk can make it work now.

you need to install custom recovery and magix for boot animations. however you can install live wallpaper.

Well since I last time rooted my old Lenovo I don’t do that, especially on Xiaomi phones. About that Lenovo, I rooted it to do something and just forgot about it. After a while WiFi stopped working, then I deleted. Like a year nothing was happening and then suddenly android just stopped working, so since that I don’t do that anymore

The thing is that my bank app uses some kind of security even magisk can’t bypass, so I always need to flash official ROMs and not root my phone.
Can this be ported to Miui 12 Or is there a boot file you have, can you share it.
Yep some major bugs. But I didn’t try it for long. I flashed another rom after a couple of hours

k30 ultra cn exclusive its pretty powerful unit but its mtk so its a low chance to get one.

Nowadays magisk doesn’t hide by default. You have rename magisk manager, hide magisk root, and also hide apps individually from magisk. All apps that troubled me started working. Google play services has to be manually hidden nowadays.

If your device started using hardware attestation then nothing can make it work. Only workaround for now is changing the fingerprint to devices that use basic/old attestation. Luckily my device uses basic attestation

Most probably you will need magisk to bypass safetynet.

The 5 had things I didn’t need, the 4a seemed underpowered and was missing the ultra wide angle, so the 4a 5G was the perfect fit. the battery is consistent and so is the camera. no need having to go through countless roms and kernels to see which one fits best. The full screen display was nice, but the slight punch hole doesn’t bother me as much as I thought.

How’s the rom doing? what’s the SOT like? have they fixed the pop-up camera? Swapped the K20 Pro for a Pixel 4a 5G, don’t regret it.
Yep some major bugs in tha rom, that’s why I flashed Awaken OS (the most stable a11 rom for k20pro currently in my opinion)
