What’s up with the prices??
What? I get fantastic battery life on my 8 SE, 8 and a half hours of SOT on a good day. No complaints on my end.
Not to mention Xiaomi.eu is arguably superior to global ROM in almost every way.
I really wish! That’d be a top seller.
I think I prefer the newer cores on the 675
well its got NFC, which is near useless in China and so far no mainland-only device had nfc, which somehow gives hope…
Remember that it probably won’t get global rom, also this battery is very bad
lol you misread 675 to 855
Not going to happen. 675 it is. Dude the CEO said a redmi PHONE is coming with 855, not Note 7.
Maybe there will be a global with 20?
Oh I see, thanks!
Wait, a redmi with 855? So competing against the mate 9? 🤔 Also what about the poco phone one 2019?
What?
Does it have the same camera setup that mi 9?
$297
Looks good! Excited how it will compare to the Note 7 Pro.
Nobody is comparing 855 with another 855, I was assuming 855 would be more efficient than 712.
This baby with band 20 would be my go-to phone, love the small form factor and almost 6″ screen, but damnit band 20.
>3070mAh
lol no thanks
You could also benefit from SD855 without doing demanding tasks by it simply being a more efficient processor, hence less heat and more battery life.
But as it’s AMOLED it don’t waste so much battery, right?
Any idea when the global version gets released?
I like they still keep the SE line up and didn’t botch the camera, I am not too sure how I feel about this approach compared to Samsung/Apple which they botch the camera but keep the top end SOC.
I would gladly pay extra ¥500 for SD855 just for the 7nm process and wireless charging. I love the SE size, Mi 8 feels too big for me half of the time.
That’s only if Xiaomi put some kind of software cap on it. Disabling cores, peak frequency etc. Otherwise it’ll consume as much power as any other 855
The topic is about MI 9se.
I had a note 4x and I’m now on 5 pro, mainly because the battery.
Well, to me I don’t play demanding games so much or need that much processing power in my phone. But I do take a lot of photos on my phone. So a phone with a second tier SOC and a top tier camera sounds pretty good for me.

Ah good to know, thanks.
I know about the .eu but this requires unlock the bootloader so a regular user would prefer it to come ready to use.
Well that’s a lot of SoT, impressive. My point is that wouldn’t hurt be at least 3.5k.
They did downgraded the cameras a little bit on Mi 9 SE. The tele camera and the ultra wide camera are of lower resolution, and the ultra wide camera loses the ability to focus (i.e. it is now fixed focus).
Starting at $297. Xiaomi is making a lot of competition for itself for $300 phones.
712 has improved cpu from 710 slightly i heard lets see in benches
