This was my first attempt at shooting a Milkyway panorama using a phone, here is the details for photo geeks-
Shot on Xiaomi 14 Pro, 30 panel panorama, each panel 30 seconds exposure, ISO 6400, RAW
Took me around 15-20 mintues just to capture the image, especially eveyballing & adjusting the tripod head at the same degree, tried for atleast 30-40% overlap over each images.
Stitched & Processed in Photoshop
Location – Desert Road, New Zealand
If this is the first panorama photo, imagine the next ones. It was a show
Hope you crack it, cheers!!
Wow! Unbelievable that this is from a phone! Great work!
Stunning mate. Huge effort there.
Impressive, can you show the way you made it 😍
Maaaan, please do! I always shoot Milky ways on Nikon D5100 but now will try to do the same on 15 that i got recently. Just got a mobile tripod with remote. Just need to come out of the house at 1 -2am haha

Magnificent photo, I congratulate you! 👍
Nice 👍
Haha😅 This image is from 2024, Shot something similar with the 15 Ultra, will share it here once its done 🙂 Its wayy better
Show. Share for everyone to see
Impressive image! Well done!
Hi, my understanding is that that was a vertical main sensor 30 photos panorama that was stitched together . Photos were overlapping to make it easier and less risky of a mess up.
🙌
Genuinely Impressed Can’t wait to try out the 15 Ultra myself ❤️
You’re a pro, excellent job!
thank you
My god.. Its one of the best milky way shots I’ve seen. Really impressive! If you want, you can post it and more mobile astro shots in r/astro_mobile
Wow
Whoaaaaaa!!!!! Beautiful!!!
Can you illustrate this to us better, please?
>Shot on Xiaomi 14 Pro, 30 panel panorama, each panel 30 seconds exposure, ISO 6400, RAW
What do you mean by 30 panel panorama? was this with the main sensor? 30 shots of 30s each at 6400 ISO?
Thanks sharing this and giving us more context!
amazing
Just like shooting a panorama on a DSLR, shoot, move camera few degrees, shoot.
Great photo, hats off to the effort.
Amazing
Thanks
Incredible feat… Hat’s off for the efforts, i always wished to picture the Milky way, I had previously tried with my Redmi Note 10 phones to some extent but now that I got Xiaomi 14, the light pollution has increased in my area and not able to get the same experience as years before.
I’m planning to go into deep forest or areas with the least light pollution to try next.
