Yeah I bought my pro at launch. Pretty annoying to see much older phones get it first, and the the update getting delayed and delayed to no end… I’m happy with MIUI11, it just feels weird to be left hanging like that.
They probably look at some internal statistics to determine what’s more profitable.
Why tf are they updating older devices before the Note 9 series?

Fuck got the update in the morning and updated without paying attention and I’m getting quite a few bugs esp for messenger in split screen and opening it in landscape when I’m using another app

I have been using my 9S with MIUI12 for about a month now. No issues or any kind of lag (knock on wood)

Yeah i used to charge until 60% and not plug in again for nearly 2 days. Now it only lasts for 1 day. I think 12 is poorly optimized for battery usage.

They are testing devices not updating them.
Cause they will update older versions in order to test they work properly and clean bugs once they’d reach the newer models.
Why are people making a fuss about this?, I already have it on my note 9, I had it for a while. I bought it like 2 months ago and after a week I got the notification to update to MIUI12, looks good runs a little slower but not noticiably, it’s fine
