Tbh I dont really know what youre talking about. Aside from Apple and Samsung Xiaomi had the best video capability on the mi9. Huawei just stepped up with the Mate30

My opinion still stands that they are the Turtle of the industry. But whatever floats your boat. So what if Xiaomi copies cat when they do it better. Also they are not “world famous iPhone copycats”. I could also say the same about the iPhone with the triple cam setup that they copied from Huawei and saying S10 series the same too. There are also people who are anti-iPhone for the same or other reasons. Whatever floats your boat, I also wanted the iPhone to give the Mate 30 Pro a run for it’s money in Nightshots. But Mate 30 Pro still the best.
indeed. numbers of pixels you can print on the packaging, “better photos” on the other hand are highly subjective, and hard to show off in the same way (don’t forget review blogs are only for phone nerds, not the masses). same reason btw Samsung is trying to advertise their TVs using their arbitrary “Picture Quality Index” now.
The vast majority, sure. But if you really want to do some professional-ish video editing, having a high resolution recording always helps so that you have tons of headroom to edit as you please.
No it isnt. On mobile for sure, but for anything else it gives you more freedom in editing.

It’s the same problem on why people buy Macbooks even when it has way weaker soecs than similarly priced Windows laptop.
It’s easier to market a brand or number than something the average user don’t understand like better sensor type or OIS.

Eh, if it captures more pixels (and isn’t a shot nitrate) it’ll likely be better. They should definitely have a feature that automatically downscales it, as even then it would probably be higher quality than 4k.

Yeah they may have the best ARM Cpu and GPU in the market. But how would an average user would be able to reap the full benefit of it. If it’s on Android that much power could be put into much better use with more Applications. Yeah they have good Face Reco Hardware but tbh it can’t beat a more simpler Fingerprint Scanner.
It is the fact that iPhones have been the turtle of the competition. Sticking with that stupid ugly notch when others have moved on with better options. Having LCD displays on Flagships from iPhone 2G to iPhone 8 when the competition has used or started to use AMOLED for several generations of devices now. They can’t even bother to use AMOLED on the iPhone 11 when the S10e is and has more pixels. The iPhone has stick to thick bezel devices until the X. Whilst charging a kidney with inferior hardware before the 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max. Yet still charging a kidney for it.
