They’re not going to give the update to all phones worldwide at once..the older models and the cheaper ones get it first for testing, also cheaper markets get the updates quicker, then they slowly roll out to all phones, fixing bugs as they you, if you get the update early you are essentially a beta tester. The best phones from their lineup will only get the update when most major bugs are fixed
You’ll get the update eventually, unless you have an old model and it is out of service

If your region is global then wait a few hours or 1-2 days. If your region is EU, IN etc. then we wait a few days or weeks
They haven’t fixed the non-clickable widgets.
It seems that everyday, there’s miui 12.5 update on another xiaomi phone, but its never mine model 🙁 (mi9lite)

I bought Redmi Note 10 pro and I gotta say Miui is dumb piece of software . Some of the things that are stupid :I can’t remove accessibility icon from navbar, i have to enable miui optimizations to upload pics, in new control panel I can’t swipe down quick settings only notifications… And don’t get me started on customizing the look of software..
I’m on MIUI Global.
Maybe for pro but not the non pro.
And I still can’t change my wallpaper, probably for more than 6 months I have that bug

This saturday i received the update 12.5 for my Redmi Note 10 (Global) im from Chile southamerica btw.

I have this problem even before the update until now. I can only do dual apps if i use the toolbar instead of gesture control
It doesn’t matter from which side I swipe, notifications come down. I have to 1st swipe down and then to left to get quick settings.
i got it on my Note 7 too, should i update or is it just a downgrade?
Well ui seems a bit smoother. Battery life is same (it ws 12.0 before) and didn’t experience any bugs yet. I’m not it’s user so I can not say anything too specific that’s just what I have been told

That’s why bro, only stock launcher has clickable widgets
I never had this problem with Sony and Samsung phones.

It must be a Chinese thing, my Huawei tablet had wallpaper issues with Nova too.
I’m in Europe, can’t use split screen!!! Days of listening to music only available on YouTube gone.
What does it do? Add some features or just fix bugs?

the blur looks good while pulling the notification panel but it feels so slow. The gesture animation has been optimized i can feel that but overall the blur which prevails everywhere that makes the phone slow. I think i’ll do a factory reset lets see how it performs after that.

Download an app called ‘Split Screen Shortcut’. It will put a shortcut on your notification bar and when you press it, split screen will open.
Alternatively for playing YouTube in background you can play videos on chrome and it’ll work in the background or you can download YouTube vanced for free and get background playback +other cool features.
I’m using note 7s and still nothing. Currently on global 12. 0.2
I used to be able to specify the auto resolution for videos, but now I can only either set it to 720p or 144p, what the heck is up with that?

Good thing: now the extra fonts from the themes app are accessible from Europe without having to change the region to India or Hong Kong.
