The screen has the most battery usage in a phone. Why would he set it to higher brightness if this works fine for him? The lower the brightness – the better.

Huawei is android and doesn’t have Play Store.
Next this is, yeah, Android is an open source project, you don’t need Play Store to properly run your android phone 🙂

I also have a mi note 10 lite and mine when inside is mostly just as low. I like the phone screen not to be bright but blend in with environmental lighting so it doesn’t look like a shining brick. Also dark mode permanently.
To OP I have Google Home for home automation but don’t have these widgets. Thanks for notifying, seems very easy! I’ll go looking how to get them.

Duuude didn’t realise control centre had these features. I was so used to the old style so I kept it standard. Just trialled it on my 10 Ultra on the EU Rom and it’s there and works amazing!

It gives you the option to select your smart home app, which in my case is Home Assistant. You can always disable it entirely in settings.
Yes, on MIUI 12.5 too on Mi 9. You can choose your home center between Google Home and Mi Home.

That’s an android 11 feature, it is usually in the power menu but they put it there instead. Btw android 11 breaks gesture support for 3rd party launchers, it’s not a MIUI problem.

I recently upgraded to this version and now I can’t use full screen gestures on third party launchers. Is it possible to downgrade from the previous miui 12 version?

For me everything working fine, except 3rd party launcher, battery is ok.. When I try first time after update open some apps I couldn’t but then I restart my phone and everything it’s okay.
Do You try to restart phone? Also set for a few minutes old notifications panel and then switch to new control center? Maybe restarting phone isn’t bad idea 🙂

I used to use nova launcher on my android 9 phone, but I can’t now. At least the Xiaomi launcher is better than the Huawei one. I hope Google are working on a fix

I have tried a suggestion here and it worked. Someone told me to switch back to the old control center and it worked, my phone is working just fine, no more freezing at the control center.
However, I do prefer the new control center so I will try it on now with the Android Cat Easter Egg off.
