i can’t access PiP mode anymore tho and split screen is not working…
Try setting it back to vertical mode or clear updates. This is official apk from xiaomi so you can report bug as well
Split screen is not an option anymore is it?
im currently on MIUI 11 and I could do it with some apps with the stock launcher
yea, i just did. the animations looked sick tho.
didnt work for me when i had miui11
now in miui12 its working flawlessly
if you guys know about stuff like this share with us pls
cheers
For me it still works so it seems like everyone’s mileage varies.
Ohhhhhh so you just hold on app in recent apps and you can go split screen.
I thought they removed it since they added floating window.
I agree, it is a little laggy.
It’s easier to just wait for the stable update…
Thanks for the tip. Only thing that’s missing is miui 12 itself xD
Unfortunately it doesn’t work on MIUI 12 for Poco. Can’t even choose this launcher as a main one

I hope they keep the vertical layout as an option it’s much superior. I miss the staggered layout from MIUI 10 though.

New!! It’s nice
It throws errors like cannot store settings in secure settings, right? I’ve been trying to install it since forever as MIUI launcher itself now has an appdrawer, and home screen gesture to pull down the new Control Center doesn’t work in POCO launcher currently. Also, POCO launcher does not have Android 10 style bottom navigation bar which I want for faster task switching and to elevate the keyboard and UI elements at the bottom of the screen so that they don’t accidentally get triggered when swiping up to go to home…
When RN8 will receive MIUI12?
I can’t do that
Fingers crossed!! yes, please. I am more fan of the vertical because there is so much more information on a screen than the horizontal one. Not everything what Apple does is logical. *I am looking at the One-Button policy of Apple*
Soon. Global version has released to some users. Wait.
I just hope that they give us the choice to switch from Horiz. activity overview to the grid-like one and vice versa in that very page instead of having to toggle a settings. Their current implementation just feels good when you have too many apps opened while the newer way would probably add the ability to take screenshot from that recents menu with just one tap without even switching to that specific activity.
I’m still waiting for MIUI 12 on Redmi note 7 …

You might want to check Xiaomiui telegram group.
I”d check xiaomiui telegram group
I agree, I like the idea but its poorly implemented
Long press homescreen, press settings, press more settings, you will see it under recent apps category
Option not available for me on a Mi MIX 2 running MIUI 12 (Android 9). Installed an even newer version MIUI_Launcher_ALPHA-V4.21.0.2440-10281956 but still the option is nowhere to be seen.
I have Poco F2 Pro and I really want an option to enable navigation bar, I don’t know why they would remove it from Poco but keep it for other Xiaomi brands.
You can sideload this and if it creates problems just clear its updates.
It doesn’t work!! I have a Redmi Note 8T Miui 12 and after clicking to Homescreen it is available but in 0,5 secs it dissapears. Please help!!
Sadly, if it doesn’t work there’s not much we can do. It’s developers’ fault
it works with launchair as well just need to change the option in settings
