Got it too last night. It fixed all the MIUI 11 Bugs
I have problem in updating. It can not reboot at all. Just show MIUI. Nothing come out.

I got MIUI 12, Android 10 on my Redmi Note 7 PRO few weeks ago.
Miui 12 has Many flaws even un it’s “Estable” versiion, I want to rollo back to Miui 11
Did your notification window change , coz mine is the same as old miui , pretty weird

you have to change it in options 🙂 search for “new notifications” 🙂
I have recently installed it and it fixed several bugs with miui11 for example when I wanted to open or swipe a pop-up notification I wind up doing either turning Bluetooth on or off or cranking the brightness all the way down. That has been fixed, heck the windows feature is awesome! But it’s still Android 10 which is a big bummer

Yeah, I’ve been using MIUI 12 on mi Redmi Note 7 for a couple weeks

biggest bug I had was self restarting after I was turning on GPS
Fm radio bug
When charging and open the fm radio then turned it will sound a static noise.
I’ve had the update for about 2 or 3 weeks now and for the first few days the battery is much worse than on MIUI 11, but then it balances out after the first few days and becomes just as superb as it was before. I have a Redmi Note 9S which is very similar to Redmi Note 9 Pro.
I did, I get like 4 to 5hs SOT, Charged my phone this morning, only had a voice call ( 2 HS ) , watched 30 min of youtube, played Genshin Impact 10 minutes, and im already at 30%, Before i used to be at 60% with this same usage.

Yeah it seems like it. I was scared at the start as the battery performance was hindered greatly, but it went away after a few days, and went back to the great battery performance that it always had.

What’s funny is I had this weird but that disappeared tho.. the home screen would just be static but I could still access apps and stuff. Restart fixed it then suddenly it’s gone 😅😅🥴🤔
Idk what happened but now it doesn’t happen. Haven’t updated since Sept .. honestly just waiting out this MIUI12 till I hear that the bugs are fixed.

Thanks I didn’t even know about this and I’ve had it for weeks.
When I updated to 12 it took it’s sweet time stuck at MIUI but eventually it booted up.
Same phone but Global MIUI. I’m still waiting for the battery to get better. It’s still great but drains a lot quicker.

Możesz zainstalować MIUI 12 ręcznie. Telefon to przez chwilę przemieli i będziesz mógł/mogła dokonać aktualizacji.

Nie, to oficjalny ROM prosto od Xiaomi. Aha, po instalacji i restarcie telefon może wisieć dłuższą chwilę na logu MIUI, ale w końcu ruszy dalej.

Sometimes my battery will drop 5-10% randomly otherwise it’s still great.
How’s the battery life after the update? My redmi 9 pro has an amazing battery that can last for days with intense usage. I’d honestly be pissed off if the MIUI 12 update would ruin my battery…
It’s the same. I haven’t noticed any difference except when using live wallpapers cause they consume a lot of battery cause they’re smoother now.
actually I’m under the impression that the battery lasts even a bit longer since I upgraded 3 days ago. And I’ve been using it heavily since, trying out stuff. Only drawback is that the charging animation doesn’t show 0.01% steps anymore, just 1%

This might be a silly question, though. You didn’t do a factory restart or anything similar? I see some people talking about it. I really want to avoid ‘factory restarting’ my 9 pro. 🙂
Current version of my 9 pro’s MIUI is [11.0.5.0](https://11.0.5.0) and I can upgrade to MIUI [12.0.1.0](https://12.0.1.0) (EU ofc). Should I accept the upgrade? Sorry if asking a lot lol
No i didn’t factory reset. Apart from wallpaper everything went smoothly
I can only recommend installing it. Hesitated at first, but then the option was gone. So i did it asap when available again.
Main Pros:
* Quick Settings and Camera Usability are so much more intuitive now
* animations are smoother
* battery seems to last longer
Only drawbacks:
* no 0.01% steps anymore in the charging animation, just 1% now
* the wallpaper automatically changed so i had to revert it to my old ones and had to find them first. make a backup of your wallpapers/make sure you know where they are stored to avoid this.
I also agree with everything above. The update is very nice. I don’t know for the battery yet because I installed the update a few hours ago. But it seems to be draining slightly slower – first look (I hope the battery will stay amazing). I hope it will stay this way. Cheers.
Edit 2: This update fixed quite a few bugs as well.
Hey. The update is pretty refreshing, and it has fixed many bugs from the last version. For me, the battery is amazing, maybe even slightly better. It’s cool. Honestly, I have noticed no bugs. Maybe you won’t like how dim wallpapers will be, but you can disable that option in the menu.
I like it and I’m glad I updated my phone. 🙂

I’ve updated and it’s awesome as you say. Bugs fixed and battery has improved for me.
Best thing I’ve seen is the option to fix a bottom bar for gestures… Without it sometimes it was near impossible to swipe correctly.

Does 4GLTE advance drain more battery than 4G ?
Got a note 9s and a note 9 pro , the note 9s on Just 4G last 10 hours screen time with 8 % left and the note 9 pro on 4G Advance (4g+) last 8 hours and 30 minutes with 8% left , is this okay ? Or does the 4g+ have impact on battery?
