In MIUI 11 the battery stats displayed info since last charge, whereas in MIUI 12 the stats show only past 24 hours.
I noticed this because just some minutes ago I checked the stats and it said usage 4 hours and 59 minutes. I go back in a few minutes after I let my phone rest and now it says 4 hours and 47 minutes, which made me think that it only calculates the past 24 hours.
This shows that we can’t see the actual SoT of the phone.
Does anyone have an idea how to see the stats like they were in MIUI 11? Or at least not only the past 24 hours but even more than that? I would like to avoid a 3rd party app because I don’t want it draining my battery.
You just made me sent them a report through the feedback app lol. Hope they look at the reports.
That’s not an issue. For them atleast. It was done intentionally.
From 100-0?
I’ve already sent about 10 feedbacks. Some were sent one year ago… I never got a single answer… And they never listened to my bug reports/advices
Just got a note 9 and CBA updating to 12 when 11 seem more stavle.

Gotcha
Downgrade the security app and done
What??
I like this method more as with my 75% charge cutoff it would never reset for around 1+ month…
>owngrade the security app and don

Followed everything, didn’t work. Security app is on 4.1.8
It’s not a bug. It’s a feature(cit.)
I miss that statistic more than i thought
Download accu battery. It is a great battery app. Will show you Stats and save them forever if you pay 3$. But they don’t give you a graph unfortunately
Mine is even weirder, it only show Bluetooth as the highest battery drainer and at the same time showing only 1% (47 mAh) power consumption.
Feels like the battery monitoring service is slightly messed up.

Yes i noticed this too. I definietly hate it
This can happen on MIUI 11 too. It involves one of the system apps as far as I can tell. I forget which.
I still don’t have MIUI 12 on mi9
is there a way to update the security application again on my own?
does anyone remember which version of the security app it was pointing to for the battery from the last charge?
Mine is 3.8.8
and in battery usage stats, it also shows you since the last charge?
Yes
Without any update?
What was that system app? I want to delete it
My instagram uses 40 percent of my battery in idle for no reasons :-/
I tried force stopping it but it still uses battery :-/
The same herem i wwnt to see from last charge and not only 24 hours
They chose to change it like that, so sending feedback is probably not going to work. Just get a third party app for battery stats.
Miui 11 is the same. it shows last 24 hrs if you do not disable the miui optimisation which is useless if you have more than one day battery power. It s better to use gsam battery monitor.
try one of these [https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/xiaomi-inc/miui-security/](https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/xiaomi-inc/miui-security/) and Alex, do you have miui 12 ? maybe that is the reason you can´t downgrade.
Security I think? Can’t recall. Sorry. :<
this happened to me after a update of one of the apps possibly security app. no longer shows full battery usage time, its only a 24 hour view. not good
That happened to me on MIUI 10 after Security app updated without even asking me. Of course i closed auto update but it was too late.
I am gonna try downloading older versions of Security app.
Tell me if it works please
i deleted all the updates of Security app. Now it’s on 2.7.4 version and it works.
It says 7 days which is true because i only look at phone because of WhatsApp, being at mostly home i only charge once a week.
Although downgrading Security isn’t such a good idea, i don’t do much stuff on my phone, just documents and play store apps. So i think it will be fine.
Oh wait are you on MIUI 10?
yes. that also may affect which version you will get when you downgrade. It may not be 2.7.4 if it’s MIUI 12.
Ah yes that’s why I can’t get it 🙁
try downloading APK. but in Xiaomi if you already have the app in some version it doesn’t let you install. Maybe if you disable Security app you might be able to download older version of it. If not, you just gonna have to wait until Xiaomi sorts it out.
I really don’t like this part of Xiaomi, such simple features are missing. There is no setting for only notification sounds. It’s the same setting as your phone ring. I was able to do it on my Samsung Galaxy S4 for god’s sake.
still nothing. This seems like a missed oppotunity, why would this be a feature? not only the user cant see exact usage pattern, but you cant post any screenshot to prove you ARE getting great battery (for example poco x3), there would be a lot more positive and convincing information regarding miui and the battery and xiaomi phones if people were sharing full battery usage.
I only stats since the last svreen activation
Even that last 24h seems wrong … Resetting data at 00:00
