I’m talking about system wide dark mode, it’s confirmed.
Hopefully mi mix 2s won’t get the same treatment soon
[It seems that they’re bringing it only for Note 5 pro and Poco f1 for now.](https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.fonearena.com/blog/275165/xiaomi-miui-10-dark-mode-system-apps.html/amp)
I’ve been hearing that since I posted yesterday. Glad I’m not missing much.
Me 2
That’s some nonsense. Strap in, the wait is going to be a pain.
With MIUI, miui updates matter more than android updates, most of the time android is catching up with miui in terms of features anyway…
Got room for another desperate fan of amoled black?
Me too
Oh sry just looked it up 😅😅. It’s just in beta for now , in future updates probably.
Pie is lame and not very interesting, and a lot of notifications dont work right with it.
So do I mate. Probably the best phone I ever owned.
For me personally, Pie is not a huge improvement anyway. I doubt even Q will be significantly different. Interface on the other hand is a more day to day use change.
They announced it, right?
Flyme have this monochrome battery saver for a long time now. Glad MIUI is getting it.
Will we finally get the feature to fucking sort/auto-fill our apps on the home screen? I hate that I have to manage all my apps every time I’m uninstalling apps
Meanwhile me and my Mi Mix 2 are still waiting on Android Pie.
Ever since I started using Xiaomi devices I do not really care about new android version. I just dont find any difference between androids(pie and oreo for example) on Miui.
Well, you’re far more likely to get new MIUI than new Android. It has always been the deal with Xiaomi. Redmi Note 4 will get MIUI 11, but it will be Nougat(!)-based MIUI 11.
Nope no dark mode on Poco. Unless you’re talking about app drawer colours…?
Yes
All cool and dandy about the new “unified icons” but how about the basic option to actually choose your own icons for apps? Why is this not a thing???
Guess at the name: Android Quiche?
My G4 Plus just got Oreo today
Should be one of the first beta devices going from past history.
They did confirm that they’re testing it in betas which brings dark mode to settings, notification panel, and some default apps as of right now.
Me too….
Righhht!? What’s up with that. I am already seeing Android Q betas on phones
