For anyone wondering if Mi11 Ultra still has IR blaster, yes it does. Thank you Xiaomi.

Hope it always will 👍
Thats actually very impressive. They have that feature like ages ago and still didn’t drop it. It’s very useful for a sack of potato like me that is too lazy to go grab the remote
X3 Pro
X3Pro has an 800 series SoC if that is what you really need. I went from a Poco F1 to an X3 and it was an upgrade in every single way. I never used the 845 as I don’t game on my phone. NFC and the display were a great upgrade
X3Pro has a 120Hz IPS panel, not an OLED panel
It is also a bit bigger than my old Poco F1.
Little tip turn on sunlight mode. It will give you some extra brightness.
Thanks but not needed, I run my phone at around 40% anyway
Yeah me too but when I am outside during summer it’s helpful.
Poco F2 pro
Thank god Xiaomi keeps features from years ago. Unlike the headphone jack on the Mi series, if you want a headphone jack, buy a mid-range phone which has an IR blaster and headphone jack (like POCO X3 NFC), or just buy a dongle (the cheap way).
I miss hidden camera
I don’t really get the screen on the back. maybe have the camera on a hinge instead like that phone from last year.
IR blaster costs more than the headphone jack. I don’t get it.
The IR blaster is literally one of the reasons why my last 3 phones have been Xiaomi.
Would not call a phone with SD 860 midrange
IR dongles suck so much! I have about 20 different ones and they are all garbage.
Sad that my MI9T pro doesn’t have IR
my apple type c to 3.5 dongle is still good, but I miss being able to charge and plug my iem simultaneously
>suck. It often fails to register and has a delay, so I always end up reaching for the TV remote in the end anyway.
Never had any issues with my Mi10 IR blaster though. It works perfectly for both my LG TV and my Yamaha receiver. When you say fail to register, what do you actually mean? I never heard that a remote control with IR needs to register? Are you perhaps thinking of remotes that rely of wifi connection? They need to register.
I was sohappy when I got my Mi9 with IR blaster. And then learned that it can’t learn signals from physical remote like my last IR enabled devices did.
Try to delete it from your remote list and do the registration again?
Make sure you’re aiming directly at the receiver. My tv aircons and fans all work immediately. There’s no delay. Also the IR blaster isn’t in the middle of the phone be aware of that too.
As long as the app supports your specific TV model it should work.
I use the Mi Remote app
Talking about IR dongles. They are always made of the cheapest materials, and they are so fussy about whether they will work or not.
Yeah, dongles do suck and they become useless after you buy new stuff.
I have a USB-A to USB micro that I used on my old phone (Redmi Note 6 Pro), now that I have a phone that takes Type-C, it’s useless and I have to buy a new dongle if I want to plug a mouse or a flash drive to my phone.
Anyone paired it with dyson fan? I have the hot cold one but it doesn’t work. Tv and air con does though
