What do you mean?
Really appreciate Xiaomi’s work. They are developing veryyy fast!
Yea, but this video seemed rushed out, like 0.5 sec for a picture comparasion, and no night mode photos (not enough, and no zoom in to see detail/texture rendering)
Yeah. This guy is very consistent about posting videos and his videos are really useful too.
This guy is a machine making videos. Always first on xiaomi’s news or devices!
I think he saved that for later. Like a full review.
I meant what I said. I won’t rephrase if you don’t point out what was unclear.
Really tho, what does the difference between these two devices have to do with “whole industry”?
Agreed. I hope Xiaomi step up their HDR processing too. It just can’t compete with Samsung, Apple and Huawei at this state.
What happened to James? 😔
Why is Messi’s and Tom Holland’s son reviewing phones?
At 4:35 xiaomi looks less saturated.
Tbh, the difference in those two cameras is so striking it makes me wonder wtf is wrong with the whole industry.
Great video
His videos are rushed, like this half baked comparison.
Well you can’t really compare optics of a massive DSLR lense and this tiny sensor in a phone, so a huge part of image relies on software in mobile devices (think if pixel’s legendary camera software). If all phones did was just capture the light that comes into sensors then they would all look kinda bad. Perfecting software for all possible conditions is nor an easy task.
messi?
Pretty close to the huawei although I dont really like the oversaturated colors in Xiaomis photos, which is weird since other reviewers praised it as being natural looking. Also, this dude looks like Leo Messi.
It makes me wonder how much the different devices are simply not taking a picture but lying their ass of with the software to appear more appealing.
A photograph should represent the original as best as it could – not turn up the saturation to 9000. The difference is so striking it’s insane. Optics are not insanely complex – yet instead of making an image that is more true, they make one that “looks nicer”.
Honestly, if someone gave me both, I probably wouldn’t be able to tell which was which, Xiaomi did a pretty incredible job. But I get what everyone is saying about how it has midrange specs, but a great camera which puts it in a niche.
Yeah, he divides them. He uploaded a speedtest later yesterday. (Against a mi9 and another 8series phone, kinda weird in my opinion)
Never seen his reviews before – nice post 🙂
