which gcam version you’re using? can you link for download? thanks
It doesn’t have to be ported specifically for that phone, you can try different versions and find the one that works better.
For example, this one works with many xiaomi phones, including the A2 Lite

How long is booloader unlock waiting time now?
The night pics look quite good, wonder how it stacks up against the RN7.
Great, my phone just arrived and i have to wait 168 hours. I’m glad it isn’t 1440 hours
I have never used a N5 Pro so I cant compare it, I’ll give you my opinion tho, the display is not as bad as everyone says it is. A normal user would hardly be able to tell the difference. The screen is very bright and there are vibrant colours too. The Amoled panel just looks better than a LCD imo. No issues with text clarity for me.
Better than my Huawei Mate 10 PRO
Couldn’t agree more. Awesome phone. Love my blue mi 9t!

Here you go mate! Enjoy the miracles of Gcam. Which phone are you using?
Some people want NFC as much as other volte
How long did you have to hold the camera still for a night pic?
Is camera2 api enabled by default on Mi A3?
That’s great, unfortunately there is no dedicated port for the Mi A3 yet, so I can’t use the wide angle lense.
Great shots.
A different question.
How is the display? I mean I understand it has brighter and vibrant colors but what about the text clarity?
I have been using N5 Pro. How worse or similar would the text clarity be?
You can find it here [https://t.me/s/gcammi8mi](https://t.me/s/gcammi8mi)
😹😹😹 literally what everyone says.
Some of the light bulbs are a bit overexposed but that’s it, it’s very good.
Looks surprisingly good for a midrange phone, especially I’m liking the details at the trees.
Stock camera looks really awful. Noisy and without details.
Android Q doesn’t have anything interesting so thanks but not.
May I ask why you’d want NFC? I never understood why it’s such a wanted feature, maybe I’m missing something.
It’s just something you expect in phones especially when you’re living in North America. I would love to upgrade from my A2 lite but the Mi A3 doesn’t have enough competitive specs for the move ATM.
Amazing, best camera for the price without a doubt
Can you send one for Mi 8? Thank you!
Is the fingerprint scanner as unreliable as some people say?
Give them some time for security updates. After 5 or 6 update they will downgrade the camera. Wait Nd see
Hi, does it matter which port of the Gcam?
Isn’t there an A3 Gcam port?
Also, did you play with the settings? could you list down everything you changes?
Thanks
I have the note 7 and is really worth too, Xiaomi rocks
It’s really good. You are using Google camera app?
What should I have used instead?
Stock android experience is worth it, that’s why i bought redmi note 7 and flashed RR…
Cheers, mate!
Also amazing battery life
It’s Hong Kong!
I’m deciding between this phone (3 cameras and amoled display) and the redmi note 7 pro. Would you say it’s worth it?
Awesome! What city is that?
Level 3 actually means yes
Only level three so no.
Exactly the plan I had in mind haha thanks!
Try this [https://drive.google.com/file/d/1js42mx6SuZQMXI6WeWhVsipstXISz43A/edit](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1js42mx6SuZQMXI6WeWhVsipstXISz43A/edit)
I waited full 7 days
I think the mistake is, that you uploaded this photos to Imgur, it degrades the quality of the images so bad…
Oh wow. Sorry I didn’t know. Could you explain what the benefits of having it enabled?
How do you check these stuff?
“bUt tHe SCreeN is 720P!!”
It’s just a gimmick but is really cool.
i’m using the note 7. maybe that one doesn’t work on mine
Level 3 is better than full. That said, you can take advantage of every gcam feature
I would argue that the RN7P’s camera is much better, even without the Gcam port (which would only serve to enhance the image quality even further).

This was taken using the stock camera app, utilizing the ‘Night Mode’ functionality.
Cheers!
Yeah, as the guy said, Google Drive.
I think the stock android experience is worth it, you’ll get frequent updates and access to android Q much faster, the cameras are amazing and the screen is not as bad as everyone says. Definitely worth it!
Level 3 has more features which on full aren’t working.
For example: YUV color space, focus tracking and motion in gcam.
Go for redmi note 7 pro and flash Pixel experience ROM. Better performance and full HD
Hey man, could you give a small review for mi a3.Planning to buy this.
Please tell me especially about the in display fingerprint sensor.
Pm me brother I’ll tell you whatever you want to know 🙂
For real? That device had brilliant camera performance!
Doesnt work frontal camera, any version stable for a3?
Mi A series is almost perfect phones for me with one deal breaker thing – lack of NFC. Otherwise those are great devices.
Yes
Looks damn great, I’ll go for it
Payment convenience
Thank you for the useful information. Studied something new today. 👍
Add Gcam would’ve been greater

I don’t know about the difference. How a lev 3 is better than full support?
It’s mostly as a credit card but use it for public transport and loyalty cards too. I’d be hard pressed to have a non-NFC phone now. I carry only 4 cards in my wallet now and 1 is just a backup.
Payment convenience. I used to buy Motorolas simply because for the price you got at least NFC even though Xiaomi devices were already better priced etc. Payments are so much better with NFC that it’s a must IMO. I bought the Mi9T because Xiaomi finally released something “cheap” that has NFC and honesty this is the best phone I have ever owned.
Around 3 seconds for a night pic
Yes, my bad I forgot to say it in the title. 90% of the pics are taken using a K20 Pro Gcam Port.
