sorry to ask this…but why u need custom rom like lineage when Mi A1 originally came with stock android? what are the gains u get if u move to something like lineage ?

To start, the stock ROM doesn’t have a proper FM Radio app.
They do not have camera2api enabled.
Finally… Now bring me custom rom lineage
Functions stock does not have. Optimalisation. Better CPU clocks. Better battery life.
It depends on what you flash.
The xperia rom on my note 4 added some nice extras. Installing stock over Sony stock removes audio and display optimizations for example.
Lineage is very different from stock, just look iy up?
