It doesn’t. The only real difference between the 582 and 586 is the ability to record in 4k 60FPS which granted makes it “better” but it’s not that huge of an upgrade.
What is “Spanish version” ??
You won’t need it for battery this big. If you really want one, get a mi 9
Uhm sir. I got the Mi 9T 128GB for 270€ one month ago
Just bought a mi 9t 4 days ago and suddenly they pull a move like this
No summer honey/pearl white variation?
Nope, banggood had a coupon code. I used it too
Same here, and with wireless charging I surprisingly don’t even notice the battery life anymore
is band 12 the one band that must be available when coming to US?
The spanish version probably has the option for english language? Says [Version espanola] on amazon.es.
How is the battery of the 8 Pro? I found it weird that they sized it down to about 3000 mAh if I am not mistaken.
Nice
Mi9t (not pro) is so laggy compared to mi9. Especially when using the camera.
Any hope of this coming to US or should I just get a OnePlus
399.00€ = $590.00 CAD
That’s not bad compared to the other big name brand smartphones. It’d probably end up costing more once you include shipping, custom duty fees.
We should not forget that official Europe/US releases are always going to be far more expensive. Shipping costs, VAT (in Germany it’s 19%), store wants to make some money as well, etc.
You can get a K20 Pro for much cheaper though a Chinese vendor, but you’d be missing out on some LTE bands for Europe (idk about US, but that probably too).
Yeah that is a good answer 😀
I bought mi 9 3 weeks ago…
It doesn’t HAVE to be available AFAIK, but it is seems to be important. If you look up will (phone) work in the united states, the website that comes up (kimovil) does a pretty good job of showing which bands said phone supports, and which carriers use each different band. In my experience however band 12 is nearly entirely necessary, and band 66 is also helpful to have.
By playing roulette with import duties?
Because it’s redmi and no wireless charging is the only serious answer/reasoning i can think off.
Also xiaomi is entitled to charge more since mi 9 have no headphone jack /s
Look at ur battery life after 1-1,5 years. That thing ain’t hold you for half a day then anymore unfortunately.
Does it have a micro-SD slot?
Things are moving so fast that you shouldn’t really worry that much and just enjoy your Mi 9. When the time comes to replace it, you’ll have even more fantastic options than today.
You can’t go wrong with it. Sucks no USA support I have a Mi9 Global for 4 months now. Only issue is lack of kernel devs. So I built my own kernel 425-430k AnTuTu runs on F2FS (as of yesterday, it’s complicated to implement) and… Well… It clocks faster than anything coming out this year. So if you bought a Mi9 instead of a Mi9T don’t worry many custom ROMs already but my kernel is barely public so if you want it get on Telegram XDA Mi9 Optimization and Overclocking and flash it. Fastest OCd phone I know of is a super modded OP7 Pro (not stock) that will score at most 8k higher. That’s an experienced pro dev and the fastest he’s seen- this is my first build (well there’s like 40+ builds to get to this point) so not too bad of a build. Moral of the story is if you don’t care about 5g any of these phones will be fast. Even stock.
I bought the same phone with the same coupon, payed extra for priority direct mail shipping option. My order is still pending lol opened a paypal case and am probably getting a refund.
Has your order already arrived?
Or the headphone jack.
Nice
Thanks for replying. I figured the small battery won’t be good. This is what keeps me away from the Pixel 3, for example.
I always play my phone before sleeping and i always plug my phone with a 2m long cable while doing so
That’s the thing it seems like xiaomi redmi has better flagship than xiaomi mi brand. Maybe mi mix 3 5g is up there but that’s a 5g phone.
The thing is for me the only useful situation i can see myself using is when I’m driving. The issue is im studying abroad right now and obviously does not have my own car
My phone arrived 10 days after I placed the order. I have personally never had issues with BG.
Or the Snapdragon 855
https://www.mi.com/global/mi-9-t-pro/specs/
Unfortunately, no band 12 for US users.
There’s almost no difference in picture quality though. And both front and back are glass on MI 9t pro. It’s gorilla glass 5.
Noiiise
Yeah so to each their own. I don’t mind losing that feature for a bigger battery
They won the flagship killer title this time haha, I bet the Mi 10 will catch up again as the true flagship and put the 9T Pro in its place though
The Mi 9 is better than the K20 Pro, the k20 is made by redmi (redmi is a budget brand as compared to Mi from xiaomi) and it lacks qualcome quick charge 4.0 (27w)and instead has 3.0 (18w) plus it doesn’t have wireless charging nor infrared sensor. Etc
Cameras are less powerful and the body is made by somekind of plastic
Ah this kinda sucks for me, bought my Mi 9 on 30/03/19… Cheaper, bigger battery and no notch less then 6months later.
For a near flagship device (specs speak for flagship actually)? Idk, seems cheap, it even got AMOLED. IT EVEN GOT A HEADPHONE JACK.
Isn’t that a bargain
Woah, my bad, I must’ve confused it with the Mi 9T then, aka Redmi K20. But crazy value then eh.. Flagship spec
You’re right about the camera but the body is made of glass, not plastic
No
Maybe not now but I feel like that in 2 years it will be noticeable.
Why is it cheaper than my MI 9?(serious question) I’m not even salty that I bought it 3 weeks ago.
Seems like OnePlus gonna be the only chinese brand with US support
Also has an IR blaster and will get updates faster
No band 12 on this version for US
its not MI 9 Pro.. its MI 9T Pro.. Mi 9 Pro will come later this year.
Mi 9 has band 12, and I think the mi mix 3 has 12 and 66. Hoping future phones will follow suit with the mi mix 3.
It does have an option for english language
Not really, these days you can buy insurance against it or use the “EU priority line” shipping method.
Then you were Lucky. I’m in Italy and they decided to “ship” my package with Royal Shitments which is a renowned shit company many and many other people have had issues with buying from Banggood. They promised a 6-14 days delivery and more than a month after the order my package is still stuck in Poland in the hands of the delivery company
I assume you had a worse phone before mi 9. Do you really want to use that phone for 6 months more, just to get this phone? Personally i won’t, as 6 months is quite a long time and mi 9 is a pretty good phone
Xiaomi is constantly releasing phones. These fuckers killed the Mix 3 with the release of the Mi 9. Point is, in a few months there will be another killer Xiaomi phone.
I got my Mi 9 regular cheaper than that, did I miss anything :D?
EDIT: Motorized cam and 3.5mm jack, first one I don’t want lol.
Well, Just bought my Mi 8 Pro few months ago. Now I see Mi9 Pro and keep thinking that Mi8 Pro is still a better choice than Mi9 Pro. Am I mad? Anyone disagree? If so, please tell me why.
But you got better camera and build quality? Plus IR blaster if that matters. Motorized pop-up camera is nice but more prone to break?
Ordering from Banggood is playing roulette with import duties, unless you ordered from a Warehouse in the EU.
Actually so far I am satisfied with the battery life. I was expecting it to be much worse but it’s enough for me.
Don’t beat yourself up. The Mi 9 is slimmer, better cameras and wireless charging. Each phone has its own pros and cons and I am still looking for the perfect phone for my needs (good camera, compact, amoled, Wireless charging and good updates)
Yes, I live in the EU. The package was delivered by GLS, and came through Belgium first (I live in the Netherlands).
That’s a good point. For me battery is the most important issue in a phone. More important than camera, for example.
Mi8 Pro is quite amazing, for sure. But I expected much more from its battery.
No SD card slot is a bummer
understandable, but that’s what happens in the technology space. there’s always going to be better things coming out after time.
To receive it in which countries? I usually purchase stuff from banggood or gearbest and zero issues. They have insurance and also, even if customs charges you with taxes, it is still cheaper. For instance I got a RN7 of 4gb RAM for USD 155. Even with taxes, it would cost around USD 170 which is still a bargain.
400,00 Euro for 128/6GB here in Germany!
Edit: that was a short term offer. Maybe there will be a similar offer/fast price drop.
Well, its not impressive. Actually the one thing that would make me buy a better Xiaomi Its the battery.
3000mAh is horrible for an amazing phone.
I wanted to buy a phone for 3-4 years and I felt like that regular MI 9t wouldn’t last that long with SD730. I might be wrong but only the time will tell ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Doesn’t the 9T Pro have the specs that made the phone popular (latest gen specs, competitive camera)?
When mi 9t pro going to be available in other countries like Georgia???
Are you in EU? Did they ship your order with Royal Shipments?
Waiting for the 6GB/128GB…
Mi 9 is currently 300€ in BG & GB which technically makes it cheaper than the 9T Pro.
Yes.
Yep, same, lasts exactly how long I want, and I don’t hold back on connectivity. A battery bank is nice if I don’t see a charger for more than a day of active use.
It says 28w on the website (op link)
That website is pretty
