Nothing on poco f1 🙁
No probs
I did
i have global version and i haven’t received the update yet. have you gotten an update already or still not?
Got it already. Downloading right now on my Redmi 9T.
Same in France
When I looked for ROMs to download, there were China, Global, Europe …
Looks like they are divided.
Wtf I still haven’t got miui 12.5 on my mi10t pro
How!? On redmi note 9 miui 12.0.1.0 grobal
Oh I also download it but I am scared if Redmi 9T won’t get the update
Well, Redmi 9T came out at the beginning of 2021, so I suppose it is going to receive MIUI 13, although I have no clue about when it is going to happen
They actually said that thee is no difference between MIUI 12 and MIUI 12.5 only if you know where to go
Suggest getting Pixel Experience and reading their docs to install.
It’s explained greatly there.
Also, they should be trustworthy as its the official documentation
Need that Ill explain it like you are five how its better? Comment
The opposite of eastern europe
Fake bro ?????
Suggest flashing a custom rom if you want more performance & battery on your Mi 9.
Weird, are the dev options enabled maybe, and the battery saver?
I’m talking about how you are hijacking this thread to post about your Poco F1 not getting updates when it has nothing to do with the Mi 9 Lite getting the update…
Maybe you could learn to read the title of the thread?
Yes, indeed there is no big difference. They updated security patches…
Moreover, battery management was improved…I do not see it but let’s say that battery is not the best part of Mi9 lol
Finally, they also changed some animations and notification style in the control center.
On animations, they are kinda similar to the old ones, so no biggie
I don’t really like new notifications instead…I am really glad that they solved a known WhatsApp bug (it used to show an older message in the popup on top when a new message arrives).
Anyway, they made more difficult to “unfold” the notification to read it entirely and sometimes I have to tap twice to open the App (this happens more often with Spotify)
i am still on miui [12.0.4.0](https://12.0.4.0) stable android 10 and the latest security patch is from jan 1st 2021. i saw somewhere that the update can be downloaded manually from somewhere. i don’t know from where
You can’t 🙁 They removed it for ‘performance’ reasons. But thats definitely not it. Even older phones with the same transparent/blurred background perform fine and don’t lag.
It was just a way to differentiate the cheaper redmi phones from their pro versions or mi phones. Xiaomi is an ass they did it on purpose.
The only way to get it back is to unlock bootloader and do a bunch of abd commands i think (the tutorial is on xda forums just search how to get back the Gaussian blur on miui control center).
I’m switching the entire os to pixel experience just because of the ugly grey background :’)
Not mine :/
u/xXDerpyPancakeXx Can you tell us how the phone works after the update?
That one bricked my 9t pro. feels sad man
Still not available for me in the UK. Not sure I’d upgrade anyway judging by the issues people have been having. 12.0.7 is working fine enough
What?
same here UK, no 12.5
It will not come to F1. It ended it’s update cycle.
Apps force close, sistem menus work in 2 frames, touchscreen doesn’t work properly and i cannot run apps without waiting whole minutes…
Can you tell us how the phone works after the update?
Cleared your cache?
I’ve got 12.5.1
Not mine :/
Hey do you know of Redmi 9T will get the update
I’m pretty satisfied with it, though I got a notification to check what’s new but it didn’t lead anywhere so dunno what’s totally new.
I have installed 3 hours ago. My phone just tranformed from a rocket to Garbage. Do not do the update
Switched to Pixel Expirience rom after 12.0.
Garbage battery life on MIUI vs Custom ROM and a lot of shit.
Just got it a few days ago on my mi note 10 lite
Nice, can’t wait to get it.
They will probably fix that in next updates.

I live in the Netherlands, so Europe west.
what is *west* Europe?
From like 3 hours to like an full day and a half.
Its worth it for an hour of debugging & fixing & etc
What do you mean by hijacking
And what does that have to do with Mi 9 Lite getting an update?
Weird I haven’t got it yet
But that’s good news and it still says no updates available
I still haven’t received the MIUI 12.5 update… I’m from Europe (Portugal to be more precise), I don’t know if I have the Global or the European version. But I should’ve received it by now, right? Does anyone know why I haven’t got it so far?
My mistake. It’s not 12.5, I’m downloading V12.0.11.0
I googled to see if there was any issues and ended up on this reddit post.
And what about the experience with the new update, tell us
Geographically or Politically? As Eastern Europe doesn’t exist as a political construct since 1989.
EU version has it.
Global Mi9 (that I have) still haven’t got any update.
Damn, so I need to finally get my ass to install custom rom 🙂 Thanks a łot for your reply
Unfortunately no update so far… 😕
For reference, I have MIUI 12.0.10 (Android 10) and the Android Security Patch is from 2021-07-01.
Me too, yesterday. Spain.
Chill wow
Of course. I’m no expert so I will just give a simple summary on my experience with 12.5 update.
First off, the animations feel _a lot_ smoother. Overall, I feel like my phone runs a lot better and also stays on longer through the day. The only other thing I noticed, were some minor UI tweaks (Notifications, fingerprint scanner, Spotify).
I hope it just receives the update
I just said updates doesnt come to f1 anymore
Doesn’t really help. I have restarted the phone made sure no background app is active and still the same. Anyways ill reset to factory because i already lost 2 hours trying tp get a fix… Thanks for your time
I received it two or three days ago. I do not really see any big improvement…
I’d actually say I prefer the older Android 10 based version when it comes down to dealing with notifications.
How to get that transparent background again? I’ve got some ugly grey background, even though I’m on original Xiaomi theme.
Wtf are you talking about bruh 🗿
Nice, i already got the xiaomi eu version tho
What about the dev options? They are active
Still waiting for a working rom for the eea version. The release is a lie. But hey what else to expect form Putin’s special friends….
Pixel Experience on the Mi9 Lite? If yes, which Rom do you use. There is sadly no official one
I prefer Xiaomi.eu, it’s much better
The MIUI 12.5 is said to be more light, faster and efficient than previous versions of MIUI. Xiaomi has claimed it will be using 20 percent fewer cores than before with 35 percent less background memory and 25 percent less power consumption.
Does anyone know when will redmi 9T will get the update
What’s so special about 12.5?
I never had the time to check out the features
Pretty much the same, feels smoother tho, the sound control UI is different (now you can control the specific app volume) and that’s what I noticed for now
Eu version is called EEA
Where do you live? I still didnt received it (im in Czechia)…
Question! For Redmi Note 9s, it’s gonna take a few more Months correct?
Near the end, is there an option for force closing apps after certain time active?
Yeah!!!! Changelog ¿?
Don’t really know, I gotta find it on the web for the full changelog
Not yet :'(
Still miui 12 Redmi note 9 pro global EEA version xd
Haven’t got it yet, strange 🤔
Honest question. Why do people like you highjack posts to say this?
What does your comment have anything to do with this thread?
I’ve got on my Mi 9 as well.
That’s sad to hear. I’m really torn, because people saying it’s good, but then there is you, with big problems. So I don’t know what to do.
The update has yet to be made available to me (location Germany)
