The cam design is not okay 😭
Although mi 10 had 4 cameras on the back, two of them are just decoration pieces….one thing xiaomi must take care of is that the vanilla version and pro version should share the same main camera and ultra wide camera
Glass that will break with a touch. At Xiaomi, we will call it, The Feather Frail Fail glass.
Or, to reduce the number of camera and yet achieve same results without software trickery.
So people don’t want a Periscope Wide Angle camera with variable aperture with Laser focus as Main camera. I guess Xiaomi should switch back to 5MP Macro & 5MP Wide Angle setup.
They could have made the camera area completely silver, completely black or connect all three cameras into a black area that looks like Γ
Pretty Good specs though.
Good phone. Lots of compromises.
I like it. Its the better of the rectangular designs as of late. Also mi 10 stripe of cams isn’t practical, I’m blocking the wideangle cam with my finger most of the time. Same with led light.
Pog
Should I change my mi 10 pro ? 😉
First time hearing about the mini and really hope its true
Bit OT maybe but why is Stitch writing “Steve”?
It doesn’t look odd to me… It’s similar to the 2 x 2 quad camera design of other phones, which is FAR better for photography and videography versus the stupid all-horizontal arrangement Xiaomi is known for.
For one, you can have one ND filter cover all four cameras in a 2 x 2 arrangement.
You can actually use a gimbal without the ultrawide getting the gimbal itself into the shot.
The only thing it’s guilty of is having a very ugly accent around the camera lenses.
There are already leaked photos of the 11 Pro and it clearly shows the periscope camera with the rectangular lens / mirror.
”Mi 11 is expected to receive a 108MP main sensor **Samsung HM3**, and in addition to it, the company will add a wide-angle sensor and telephoto. The Snapdragon 888 ISP will be responsible for processing the images received from this camera, which Xiaomi promised to publish the first in the world just in Mi 11. As for the Mi 11 Pro, it should receive a periscope camera (for the first time in the flagship series for the international market).”
You should try asus rog 3. A beast of a phone. Its the best in class but is a slab of glass with rgb.
Yeah I’m just trying to find the middle ground between $2000 Samsung and xiaomis offerings lol. 144hz display is one of the things I notice not having.
Enjoy my dude! For me personally moving from 9t to 10t didn’t cut it. There are nice things but there are somethings that i felt were better executed on the 9t pro.
Question is, if the odd here is good or bad.
Going out of ideas.
looks like a pocket microwave idk why
this phone
I just ordered the 10t non pro! Extra £100 for camera tech didn’t seem great for me. Got the 8gb version though. This all started because my z fold 2 broke. Bought a redmi note 9 to tie me over for a week. Man I love this thing.
Stereo speakers and 144hz display sold me on the 10t though.
Wow. I honestly expected that to be an early version of the design or something. It completely breaks the aesthetic that the Mi 9/ Mi Note 10/ Mi 10 series share… And I think it’s way uglier than those.
Same.
I’m currently running the 9t pro, i think by next year mid we’ll get the 11t pro, planning to go for that.
Fuck it, I’ll wait for it
Looks like android makers are competing woth each other to see who makes the phone with the ugliest back
