Xiaomi Mi 10T is GODLIKE worth every penny! I am lost of words how to describe this perfection of a phone. From the hardware: 144hz, ultra fast DDR5 RAM that keeps everything ready to use without refreshing, Snapdragon 865 chipset, liquid cooling 1.0, 5000mAh battery, 64mpx camera, a MACRO camera (i use this the most), amazing vibration motor and best quality ips LCD screen i have ever seen and not to forget the super fast charging (from 20% to 85% in 20 minutes!!!).
To the software: amazing animated MIUI 12 with insanely low battery consumption, system wide dark mode, amazing customization, super live wallpapers, swipe on keyboard to more cursor and small things that make every day life much easier and more enjoyable!
If anyone is planning to get this phone I say that you won’t regret a single thing!
Same here, this phone is practically perfect. The only complaint imo is the LCD screen which is not comparable to an AMOLED and the MIUI that sometimes doesn’t seem mature enough as other OSs
can i ask you a favor? can you do a 8-minute test on your mi 10t on Video recording while the flash is on?
apparently I’m currently facing a bug on the same device where my phone would literally shutdown the camera flash within 7 minute use and I wanna know if its the same for other mi 10t users before considering getting my phone a service repair
How bad is the screen or is it decent?
(Im deciding between a k30 ultra or a mi 10t or mi10t pro)
Well, actually it’s really good but blacks aren’t blacks at all, they’re more like dark grey. But in general it’s not bad and the high fresh rate is so smooth you will never go back to 60Hz (90Hz is perfect, 144Hz seems useless tho except for some games). If you can, buy the pro version ’cause I think the better camera is worth the money, but the camera of the 10T is decent
Someone that uses the macro camera in a phone, didn’t think those people existed.
I have the Mi 10T lite and for the price this phone is a bargain. I’m amazed that there’s no shadow or weird colours around the camera cutout in an IPS display. (I saw a Redmi Note 9 iirc and the shadow around the camera cutout was horrendous)
I have the Mi 10T Pro, and I love it. Only problem so far is that when wifi is turned off the device randomly reboots. Hoping for a fix soon.
What’s the battery life like on 144Hz?
insanely good, use it 24/7
edit: can last whole day with 60% battery and leave you at 15% with gaming, reddit, youtube and reading thanks to 5000mAh battery
The screen has amazing colors and very low power consumption, blacks are really good but can be a tiny bit darker and isn’t a problem for me at all because i think this is the best lcd display on the phone as of right now
im gonna do that rn btw what res video and what camera
edit: did 7min 28 sec 4k 30 fps video with flash and absolutely nothing happened, just drained 2% battery life
that sucks, doesn’t happen to me for some reason
any resolution is fine
the back camera with the flash on is the most prone to overheating
did the test, edited previous comment
thanks looks like my phone is having some defects quite unfortunate
sorry to hear that, hope you have a warranty and good luck to fix it!
> Someone that uses the macro camera in a phone, didn’t think those people existed.
Yep, I do. Its absolutely mindblowing on poco f2. I guess the same is on mi 10t.
couldve waited for next gen flagships which are coming in 2months
Don’t have Iphone 11 but if I had to guess I’d say yes. Ran Antutu display test and I’m amazed. In real world performance you most likely won’t notice a difference between the two.
True but they will most likely more expensive and my country for big tax on mobile phones (2k dollars for iphone 12 pro max) and i couldn’t stand my previous phone anymore.
As you can see by my flair, this is great news and solidifies my choice of the Mi 10T
To build on what you also said, the 10t series was intended for global release… In fact it was actually released globally from the start.. Xiaomi wanted to ensure it was optimised and well supported and it has been. The same can’t quite be said of the mi 10 original
Can I ask… Did you get stock mi messenger and dialler or are they Google messenger and Google dialer?
Don’t give up and you will always succeed!
wait it has lpddr5?
it just says “Messages” and “Phone” nowhere “Google” to be found so they are probably Mi apps
Yep, I was surprised too.
Okay is the message icon blue
Yes, it is. The message in the icon is white and there’s a solid color around kt that’s blue, same with Phone app
10T Lite owner here with 120 Hz display. I’m dissappointed by the battery life, but the fact that it charges fast AF makes up for a good lot. Currently 62% with 22h10m stand-by and 1h07m active.
Thanks for letting me know!
No problem, just curious why you wanted to know that if it’s not a problem
Ah, I’m from Australia and my wife’s Mi10T that I bought for her is the same..
Basically it just creates minor bugs that annoy me such as screen not turning off while on a call… No access to mi message (sort of like iMessage)
Reason I ask is because apparently European versions come with stock apps and I wanted to know if yours had stock or Google apps is all
Ok thank you
I have the mi 9T which has an AMOLED screen. Do you think I would notice a difference after upgrading to this phone?
What features get affected??
Surely. But it depends on your use. If you are a gamer definitively the refresh rate will be a point to choose te Mi10T. But if u’re a user that always be using the dark mode, definitively you may use Amoled display.
I am both hahha. Gamer and content consumer where I use dark mode all the time. So I shouldn’t upgrade?
Think on the Mi 10, I used it days ago. 90Hz fresh rate and Amoled display. It is a medium point between dark mode consumer and gamer.
Do you wish you had gone for the Mi 10 Ultra?
Actually I’m choosing between the poco f2 Pro or the xiaomi mi 10t, cause both cost roughly the same in my country. 10t has 120 hz, but lcd, poco f2 has AMOLED but only 60hz. Mi10 isn’t that readily available in my country though. But I’ll search some more. Thanks!
Between Poco and Mi 10T it’s better to choose te Mi, cause the date of launch give you a more efficient MIUI optimization with your hardware. Good luck with your new selection. Thanks too.
I’d love that phone but doesn’t exist in my country and if i ordered it outside of it then taxes would bump the price 40% and I don’t have that money xd
Thanks buddy!
I got the mi 10 ultra, and while it’s just a luxury version of the mi10T, I still think it’s great value for your money!
i dont know but i think you can watch videos on JerryRigEverything YouTube channel how he repairs/opens phones, i learned how to open phones from him without breaking
So in terms of software wise, poco comes out on top? I’m also thinking that since I come from xiaomi mi 9t which has a pop up cma and 60hz, I wouldn’t feel that much of a difference. Though I do want to experience that faster refresh rate though.
Just to add, MIUI is one of the not-so-good roms, wait till you experience a good custom rom one on a xiaomi, if you want to, that is.
At least it’s arguably the best LCD in market.
Wait there’s better than this? Can you please guide me how to install custom rom and will i be able to go back to MIUI 12 if it’s not good?
The European version also comes with Google apps. I have the same issue with the screen not turning off during calls and it’s quite annoying.
which miui 12 version are you using ?
MIUI Global 12.0.7 Stable
okay, im using mi 10T too with MIUI 12.0.1.0 with only about 5 hours of SOT. I’m wondering what to do, but seeing your thread made me download the packages. Hopefully the update improves my SOT. Thanks!
No problem, hope it’s better for you!
Interested in this as well
For me it works quite well so I’ll stick with it :p
All good, not every person is a Xiaomi person. Hope you like your Zenfone!
Did it, lol?
r/CursedComments, LoL.
The latest version of my miui is 12.0.3. Tried optimizing battery and it helps, now im currently getting about 6 SOT. However i should note that i only charge the phone to 80% and i always charge from 30%. So i assume from 100% to 0% should take around maybe 8-10 SOT. Just a wild guess tho
Ah, nice, right. Thank you! 😀
i had to put it to 90hz so far got me roughly 8hrs ish maybe 9 hrs with screen on time
