Probably because the guy doesn’t actually work directly for xiaomi, he probably fixes all kinds of phones but the xiaomi service centre contracts with him to help their customers.

One of my staff broke one of our xiaomi 6x’s camera glass. For a total of 50元 they sent this guy out to replace it.
