If you put them in your pockets; Turn the pockets inside out after drying and pick at the lint. Put your phone into your pockets with the charging port facing up.
Usb c is not that reliable long term. Used every day it does wear.
My nice axon 7 dies because of that (and I couldn’t find neither new replacement usb board or new replacement batteries too)…
Advice : use a magnetic cable. There is one part always plugged into the smartphone so no dust, liquid and corrosion neither wear on the phone end.
When the connector is dead, buy another one. Note : magnetic connector tends to get metal dust stick on it, I use a wooden toothpick to clean it.
My Huawei mate 20 x is running for 18 months now with that in.
Try a different cable. That’s your charger doing the initial test on the cable and failing back to a low power charge over and over.
Had a simmelar issue with the mi 9se cleaning fixed it.
The amount of dust and alike that came out was quite surprising
I have a redmi 9s and that happened to me when i use a USB cable extensor, I remove it and charged normally
My gf have the same issue with the same phone. Mi Turbo Charge does not work, fast charging works, on other cable tho. I have the same phone, no issues on both cables. Tried cleaning charging port, nothing…
Having a similar issue with my Mi 9, turns out that it’s the charging IC that’s busted. Might wanna try a completely different charger first though.
Switch off the phone and charge it to full. And then let it discharge and then charge again. This happened to me on a Samsung phone. It repeatedly happens sometimes, but I never figured out what the issue was.
i have encountered this before with a old aukey qc2 charger, you probably want to look into a different one.
Had the same with a Poco X3 NFC. Sent it back to Amazon UK. Hoping my yet to turn up Poco F3 from China doesn’t do the same!
clean the port from a dust gently with a toothpick
Not related to the problem you have in the video but don’t charge your phone and leave it over a fabric, it can be dangerous as the hear builds up, there have been done cases where phone have exploded because if this
Same
I had this problem on my Mi A2, I changed the charger and the cable and it worked for a while, eventually I had to change the charging port
and this is why i keep shouting “USB C SUCKS”
I had similar issues with poco f2 pro and was due to the ribbon connection being loose after using 30w charge. Open the back add tape to the connectors and don’t use 30w charge and been working great ever since
I had the same problem on my mi note 10. Changed the cable and it’s been fine, hasn’t happened again
Try a different charger, I had this problem with a non-Xiaomi charger. But it could just be that your charger is broken. Also try with a different cable.
Clean out the charging port definitely, interdental toothbrushes work super well for it. I had the same problem on a Samsung a while ago.
I got the same on CC9 Pro (Mi Note 10) and it escalated to worse and now i can’t charge it without shutting down. And yes, tried everything.
Just buy a new charging cable, and learn how to carefully plug it in & out, to avoid damage.
I had the same issue with my Poco F2 Pro. After troubleshooting with several other Xiaomi charger & cable I isolate the issue to be device base & bring it to Xiaomi service center. The service center promptly change the motherboard to resolve the issue.
I had the same issue for my Redmi Note 5 Pro back in 2019. Changed charger, cable, charging port, battery and nothing works. The repair shop suspect it’s the motherboard (or the charging IC).
I suggest checking if your phone can be detected continuously by your computer when connected to it. If it’s just charger issue then your phone should be detected just fine. Or else it will be your phone issue and you should get it fixed if you still have warranty.
This happened to me like 2 months after I bought my Mi 10T Lite – changed the cable and it started working flawlessly.
that happens to me too when i use any charger that’s not a Xiaomi. Also lots of times quick charge doesn’t work, it’s being actiavted. But sometimes the charger of my Huawei laptop, being 66W works actiavtes it for a small moment and then i use it’s own charger to charge.

Try is with another cable if it still has that problem
My case was from charging cable. The problem was solved after I replaced with another cable (same brand, same length, same model).
I have this on a Xiaomi Note 7. For me. it’s a problem with a specific charger. If I use another charger it works fine.
Could be the charging port. I recommend to go to a repair shop
