I just got myself a new phone, but I have one app that I NEED to always stay running in the background. On my old Xiaomi phone, I could hold down on the app and a little menu would pop up, that would let me lock the app from closing, but this menu is gone on my new phone.
But my older phone had this, so now I’m super confused. Is my phone cursed…?

Xiaomi Redmi 13. But this isn’t the only thing not working, I also dont have the new control center from HyperOS.
That doesn’t do anything tho…
My Xiaomi 15 has that menu if it’s the one I think it is. And I can lock apps to prevent from closing

in the task switcher pull down on the app and it will toggle lock on or off
