Did you try out any custom ROMs available for your device? They don’t have this issue + that’s why most of us buy Snapdragon Xiaomi devices in the first place.
Sadly MIUI has been like this for me since the beginning. Hence I always unlock the bootloader after 7 days of getting the device and flash any of the available ROMs. Currently I’m using Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G and had this issue in MIUI too on my phone.
I bought redmi 9 when this was not an issue. Somewhere around month after summer 2021 ended
Miui optimuzation on or off it doesnt care, Outside of rooting, it keeps resetting apps no matter what i do
Turning off MIUI Optimisation in Developer Options doesn’t do it, or keeps resetting to the default?
