That was my reaction when I noticed, I slept with my phone unlocked and woke up to this

Pinch the screen then swipe over to the pages and delete
Like get the screen to minimise to the widgets bit

No problem, on my old phone it was so much easier, I’m with this redmi note 9s for a month already and as far as I’ve seen, if the page is empty it get deleted but for some weird reason they aren’t
Just checked on my Mi5 and it deletes them automatically. But I’ve not updated in ages.
Ok a little update, I’ve solved it by turning the cellphone off and on again.
I’ve turned the phone off and on and now it’s normal, that’s truly bizarre

Stop using shit launcher, as a Xiaomi user for well over 5 years, that’s the first thing I recommend people, just install a normal launcher. Xiaomi a launcher is so bad like damn

Sure. I always use Microsoft launcher, but one of the most popular ones are: Nova Launcher and Lawnchair 2.
Installing them is super simple, just go to olay store and download any of those. After that, open them and you should be greeted with setting up steps. If you click home button now, you’ll be asked which launcher you’d like to use, select the one you downloaded and choose “Always”. If you wish to change it later, go to settings > Home screen > Default launcher.
I’d recommend you trying all of those and even other ones, just search for “Launcher” on the play store , that way you’ll see which one you find the best for your taste. Nova is the most customizable one, and everyone will recommend you that one. Microsoft launcher is super great for me, it has some cool features like quick panel on the left, since I use many microsoft apps it really helps me be more productive, like notes, to do, etc.. it also has some nice swipe up quick bar where I keep my most used apps. Anyway just try some and see which one you enjoy the most

Lately they disable certain settings if you use a third party launcher. Most notably you cannot change recent page’s orientation.

in xiaomi miui, blank pages cant be created..for a new page to exist it should have an app icon in it..if the page is blank it won’t exist..this must be a glitch.

So first backup your phone. Second reset it. Problem solved. But don’t backup home screen if you don’t want this to happen anymore.
It works but not in 100%, I’ve tried on multiple launchers like Nova, Lawnchair, Smart, Microsoft and No one had navbar gestures, unfortunately
Wait, i think i misunderstood you. Do you mean full screen gestures, like no navbar buttons, but gestures? Or navbar buttons + gestures over it?
If you mean only gestures, then the Launcher has nothing to do with functionality lf it, just go to setting and search for “Full screen display” amd choose “Full screen gestures”
