I don’t think so, with MIUI 11 I used very little battery even if I was in a meeting
How does all this work? Sorry, I’m new to Xiaomi and I only know that if you downgrade, your phone may become useleds
It’s the Microsoft Teams for me ✨
Go to developer option disable all animations setting, it make your phone go faster.
old
/əʊld/
adjective
1. having lived for a long time; no longer young.
That really depends. Do you lose 10% per hour *while using it* or are you losing 10%/h while the phone is just sitting there with the display off? The former is good, the latter is bad.
Aye same phone same problem hehe
On the contrary, it is at a minimum
Same issue. Just use battery saver all the time lol
miui12 kills older phones
Try using security then restart.
try [gsam battery monitor](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gsamlabs.bbm), nice tool to find out what really eats your battery
My niece has the Note 9 and she was losing about 10% per hour but now it’s gone back to normal after a couple of reboots. It’s a bit strange as she didn’t get any more updates and the phone sorted itself out.
I forgot to mention that this started since I updated it to MIUI 12. My phone is a Redmi 9
Yeah, so your phone has an antirollback index, the rom that you’ll flash has an antirollback index too, if the phones antirollback index is bigger then the roms then you’re fucked, 4 is the highest number and if you have 3 you’re good, and same with 1
Is your screen brightness all the way up?
Hmm, you can check the antirollback number
Yes, but it doesn’t improve much
There may be a conflict after clearing mi security cache, for more accurate measurement, I recommend GSAM app
But if you do a battery drain, you can damage it, right?
If the problem persists then try going back to miui 11, if you want to I can work you step by step on how to do it, it doesn’t require any pc knowledge at all, I’ll help you in every little step
Wow mine is 47
I just factory reset it and the fault continues
That doesn’t make sense. Got a source for that?
Yeah it’s good for me as well.
Try to reset the kernel
60, approximately
I got fast battery drain on miui 12.0.3, but get solve on miui12.0.5
How do I do that? 🙁
so should I have the WiFi disabled?
technically its old cause its a low tier phone
Oh, okay. Thank you so much
fine for me
Recalibrate the battery, try to charge your phone to 100%, than let it go down to 0%, if it doesn’t work try searching on the net, there are some other ways to do this
MIUI 12 is not well optimized and also the brightness is too much bright, low the brightness when in your house… Also it depends in apps, how many apps that you installed?
You have to install an adb on your pcL I’m in school right now, but I’ll tell you the steps in 2 hours
I believe betterbatterystats is better as it shows you the partial wakelocks and alarms. It’s paid in google play store but there’s a free xda edition on the their thread on xda which does the same thing as the one on play store.
My redmi 9c works fine even after update, one thing don’ t charge your phone more than 90% it will stress out your battery.
My problem isn’t as bad, but overnight consumption on my phone was 6% even though, it spent 150mAh total over the 10 hours according to battery stats. 150mAh is around 3% of 5020mAh, yet the percentage says that it spent double that. I know my problem isn’t nearly as bad, but i thought id share it since it sounds similar. Same phone and MIUI version
Battery safe mode helps me safe ~40%.of battery drain, disable internet for ~99.99% battery drain fix
Jesus Parker, you are a freak
Complete and utter BS.
The brighter the display, the more energy it consumes. So if you want to save as much battery as possible, keep the display as dark as possible.
Wow, how strange. I will uninstall it to test
I have same problem
Ohhhhh I see. And how can I see the anti rollback Index of my phone?
9 pro is significantly better after update for me.
Thank you very much, but does the anti rollback affect?
Right, sorry. I had not read well
Same, phone shuts down at 3% in MIUI 12 when in 11 it was fine and shut at 1%
Since I had to download teams my battery life went down from 2 days on optimal use to about 7 hours :’))
this is not a problem, note that your battery marker is setting from 50% down only. The miui 12 marker marks the last 24h, or the time after clearing the mi security cache
This means that, from 50% to 18%, you made 2h49 of screen, which is great. There’s nothing wrong with your phone, just the miui 12 dialer is different.
You should try it to keep it at the middle, it takes energy to increase or decrease the brightness from the normal brightness which Is at half of the bar, maybe it will help you with some percentage
Have you tried optimizing battery?
but in consumption it marks only 15%. Wasn’t it supposed to have decreased just that? I mean, from 50% to 18% there are 32% but consumption says that I only occupied 15%
Click on Rankings and then Details, check under the awake part, if the line is solid with no breaks it means some app is not closing properly. Download BetterBatteryStats app and find the culprit. In my case it was the Plex app that didn’t close properly.
Redmi 9 just came out this year
Same. MIUI 12 is super unoptimized in case of battery
No it does not. 99% of the time its an app that doesn’t get closed properly. Majority of people have no clue about this.
