Y’all complaining your xiaomi phone is overheating even in flagship phones, im gonna tell you why,
They use small or Inadequate Vapor Chamber, Some Xiaomi phones, especially in earlier or cost-cut flagship models, use smaller heat pipes or basic graphite sheets instead of large vapor chambers. A vapor chamber helps spread heat more efficiently, and when it’s undersized or absent, the phone overheats under load.
Second, Poor Thermal Paste or Contact Materials
Xiaomi sometimes uses cheaper thermal interfaces between the processor and heat spreader. This lowers production costs but also makes heat transfer less efficient.
Third, High-Performance Chips with Insufficient Cooling, Xiaomi often pushes high-end chips (like Snapdragon 8 Gen series) into relatively slim and compact bodies without enough space for cooling components, leading to thermal throttling and overheating.
You buying a flagship phone or mid range phone that was so cheap without knowing the reason why its cheap.
For my 15 Ultra, I thought it was because of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip which naturally runs hot and the software because my overheating is extremely sporadic.
Delete bloatware using shizuka and canta (watch the tutorial and be careful using it) and turn off useless settings and use gan charger like ugreen and anker (xiaomi has gan charger tl that will be much better), thats the common solution to get rid of overheating
Its true snapdragon 8 elite chip really overheats not only that i think all of snapdragon chipset overheats, cuz they have an ability to overclock compare to mediatek that what is there maximum performance they got that was it thats why they dont too much overheat
