Why they block the notification ? Whats wrong with MIUI ?
Noted
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.tweaktown.com/news/69703/xiaomi-mi-10-screen-under-display-camera-beat-galaxy-s20/amp.html
The display according to Chinese sites is actually 120mhz
K30 is basically the Poco X2
I don’t think that’s happening
The problem with Oppo is that their phones lack LTE bands. Why can’t these manufacturers provide all of the LTE bands like other manufacturers. Even budget devices from the usual big name brands have most if not all of the LTE bands for Western countries.
According to what I’ve read, The Mi 10 Pro will not have a hole punch, the camera will be underneath the display.
Also i wasn’t talking about notifications anyway but shitty ram management of miui. But go ahead act like a douchebag
>Do you always talk like a teenager?
#
>Perhaps someone will give you instructions when you stop acting like an entitled, impetuous child
Maybe you should look into a mirror sometime.
Notifications work as expected
Long story short, bought the k20 pro to immediately put pixel experience on it, but that never happened
Miui has been great for me
Do you always talk like a teenager? There is no issue with notifications on Miui 11, ( Android 10). You simply haven’t figured out how to make them work. Perhaps someone will give you instructions when you stop acting like an entitled, impetuous child You anti-Miui people are hilarious. Here’s a tip, when cooking food in a microwave, don’t plant your face on the glass it affects your judgement.
Im using miui 11 dumbass. And there are still problems with notifications. 100%. Thx for talking out of your ass.
It’s going to have 120mhz
Orly? Question was about “standard” most people don’t do VFX, 3D, or some other intensive tasks. I have 32 GB ram since 2014, doing YouTube vids (shooting in 1080 with upscale to 4k) and I personally don’t hit the ceiling yet, sure it’s not something fancy, but still.
Yes, it’s frankly better than anyvrom that I have ever used. Using AOSP in comparison is like goinh back to 4 years ago. Miui 11, via Xiaomi.Eu is seriously amazing.
Video rendering software, for example, would be able to use up all memory. Same goes for other heavy-load applications.
There is no issue with notifications anymore, Not with Miui 11. You don’t have find it on the internet, we are telling you, because we use it. Want me to come over and set it for you? Lol.
Mi 9T doesn’t have a memory slot. And the one in K30 isn’t dedicated.
best phone right now imo in terms of features and specs is the Asus Zenphone 6, it even has aptX HD which I rarely see in phone specs. But let’s be honest, who will buy an Asus phone at €600 ?
> **dedicated** memory slot
It’s a sim 2 slot too. So it’s either or. There aren’t many dual sim phones any more with (dedicated) sd card slots. And tri sims are basically nonexistent.
Meanwhile a few years back I had a tri sim phone with a dedicated memory slot. 4 fucking slots in total and now it’s all gone
Source? if true it was fuckin time!
edit: i can’t find anything on internet about them fixing ram management problem. where did you get your info from?
You know you can run more things than just games on your pc…
I have never had a problem on my k20 pro 8gb ram. I have like 15 apps running all day
this has been bothering me too, until I ‘locked’ the specific apps on Overview. give it a try.
It says on his flair “xiaomi.eu”, they take the Chinese version and customize it to use it mainly on Europe but it works globally too
I f*ing hate curved screens – looks kinda good, but useless, can’t have decent case for it.
Are we getting a Mi 10 lite version any time soon?
really?
Time to update my Poco then.
Also, is this the reason why they went with the curved screen ? To create the illusion of its thinner ?
Sorry, K20 doesn’t have it, but K30 did have it.
What is your ROM please?
My laptop had 8 gigs of RAM for the longest time. On its 4th birthday I upgraded it with additional 8 gigs and an SSD..best investment ever. Everything loads so fast and is buttery smooth it’s like a brand new laptop altogether.
Nope.
They still retain Jack and SD slot on their Redmi sub-brand.
Their Mi brand doesn’t have a headphone jack and SD card slot since Mi 6, but their Redmi sub-brand have it. Even the recently released Redmi K30 still have a headphone jack and SD card slot…
I’m pretty surprised no one knows the existence of Redmi K30.
>Why isn’t there a phone that has it all? Card slot and jack are damn basics
Redmi K20 and K20 Pro (Mi 9T/Pro) have it. Redmi K30 also have it, Redmi K30 Pro may follow the same thing too.
Mi series phones never have jack and SD slot since Mi 6 if I correct.
I really want this to be true. I may be switching from my iPhone 11 Pro Max to this.
Can anyone confirm if MIUI 11 standby is better than before? When I had the Mix 2s it wasn’t that good.
What do you mean? It has an SD Card Slot. I have a 128GB model with a 128Gb SD card.
I’m running Android 10 based MIUI 11 on my Mi Max 3 and I haven’t had any issues with notifications.
*Thiccer*
God bless
I’ve been mainly playing cytus 2. But voez is pretty nice as well (although unlocking new music is very expensive)
It’s not noticeable unless on very heavy task such as games
Off topic, but any good rhythm games you would recommend?
>I never had any delay at all.
That’s not possible. All bluetooth devices will have delay. On music of course you can’t tell the difference. On videos the picture will compensate and play a bit later so that it sync with your earphones.
The easiest way is to play rythm games. Having the beat you tapped came out 0.1sec later is very annoying.
That’s why on very expensive wireless gaming mouse (which have a delay, but not noticeable), they’re not using bluetooth. They’re using 2.4ghz to minimise the delay as much as possible
8GB is still standard in the business world, has been for a while. Basically whatever is the base memory for stuff like Surface Pros
Not everyone here is from the first-world, so 8-16 sounds more reasonable.
On my note 5 using qcy t2c tws I never had any delay at all. Tested with games, youtube, youtube vanced, prime video, netflix and alot of other things. Not a single ms of delay. I lost the earphones recently so I’m using a normal one and am hating it. Will buy a new one asap and never look back to standard earphones
Ah i see. Thanks!
Nono not screen recording. I mean video recording using back camera
>I didn’t try it myself.
So how do you record videos? Open camera?
I have one. Yes they’re good. But they’re not a replacement for a headphone jack.
The sound (for its value) is very good. The battery life isn’t a concern. But it’s a nope for those who often plays game. Playing the delay isn’t the best on that earphone, and my phone (mi9T) is significantly hotter when using bluetoothe earphones.
Xiaomi never includes an earphone on their box anyway, if people are buying it at their physical store they can promote their earphones as an additional add in
How do you do video recording on custom rom?
When i used to change to custom rom, i had to use gcam as my main camera but EIS won’t turn on. So i don’t think I’ll switch to custom rom until i can get EIS working
I don’t think android does swap though, right? Swap on desktop os like windows means your experience is a lot better with ssd.
Thanks!
What stock ROM are you using on mi 9 se?
Yeah, I am not going into LG. Many in my family had them in the past and there were often problems.
Other really good phone seems to be [Zenfone 6](https://www.gsmarena.com/asus_zenfone_6_zs630kl-9698.php), but at €600 it ain’t cheap. And also I don’t know Asus phones well enough to spend so much on it. Also, it doesn’t have AMOLED – but it’s not such a big issue.
I am just going to wait till WiFi 6 finally rolls out and then get both a new phone and a new router.
I for one don’t mind getting rid of the low battery anxiety.
Becoz $$$
I was hoping oneplus would be the phone have it all, but nope, same greed as other companies and makes excuses to remove basic features. The only company making flagships that have it all is LG but their software sucks major balls.
8-16gb
after miui 11 with Android 10, now it follows the official memory management and this is more lax with apps time being in background.
The phone will be thicker than my language teacher’s ass
this has nothing to do with a dedicated sd slot though, and at 64GB it has enough for apps built-in. You can still save data to the memory card
Meanwhile the Mi Note 10, with it’s huge camera, doesn’t have a memory slot, and 128GB ain’t much for music, movies and then videos and photos on top with that camera. I don’t get that phone.
I was hoping Mi 10 would have it all – but again. No 3.5 jack and no memory slot.
Why isn’t there a phone that has it all? Card slot and jack are damn basics
What’s the standard for PC nowadays? I’ve been in the enthusiast group too long to keep up…
Yup. I suppose people in China like it.
I’m hoping the pro model won’t exceed 700€ because I think even that will be too much 😩
Is it just me or are the phones getting thicc?
16GB of RAM and miui will still block notifications? LUL
Wireless charging please.
That’s more ram than my PC lol
Big battery yes please!
I couldn’t care less if camera is 20 or 500 megapixels, but give me a proper battery that can last more than half a day of heavy use and I’ll jump on it in a heartbeat!
yea, i was dissappointed to find out that the SD card on the MI9 lite cant be used to store apps and app content.
Only thing Mi9 Lite is missing to be perfect is a dedicated memory slot. But yeah it’s their best phone now imo
Oppo K5 Has it all tho
Not a fan of the hole punch display, I prefer the popup camera of the K20 pro but maybe this design is what most people demand. To be honest, when you have bought a flagship phone in last year there aren’t that many reasons to upgrade.
I have an MI9 lite and it has a jack. Its the only reason i bought it over stronger/faster phones. Honestly the Mi9 lite is fast enough as it is for me
90hz FHD oled and punch hole display is is almost confirmed. Headphones jack dream is dead i think as mi 8 and 9 had it already removed
I don’t see it with a headphone jack, seems Xiaomi is following the trend of removing it with the excuse it makes the device thinner, or this can also be a strategy to sell more bluetooth earphones.
Excellent now we just need 90+hz display. No notch or waterdrop, headphone jack and price under 700$.
