Stock Android has taken the lead! 👀
Of course, you’re allowed to like what you like.
Again, instead of misinterpreting me pay attention
Oxygen might as well be stock Android, but with more features. Got it? Now, why would you want, something very similar to what you already have, but does less?
That’s the part that does not make sense to vote stock over Oxygen *in my opinion*. It’s a perfectly reasonable view right?
I’d understand people voting stock over Samsung Exp. they are vastly different interfaces with a different user experience, despite the core of Android being the same
*Again, for the last time, Oxygen is stock, but with more features*. To me it seems like the poll is turning around from people who’ve never used OP phones and just want to vote for shit’s and giggles to “roast” the CEO or something. It looks childish
Just for the record, I own an S8
I don’t think a crippled do not disturb mode should be standard
It makes a lot more sense to prefer stock Android over something heavily skinned. Oxygen is nearly stock, but with features that really *should be in stock anyways*
Don’t put words in my mouth
Except… the S8 has a different body, different camera, different screen, different SoC, different usb port.
Oneplus literally recycled OPPO designs, and tech. They have the exact same cameras, the exact same chassis, all that shit. It’s undeniable there’s at least some collaboration. They have the gall to say that oneplus designed it lmao
> Hell, the 5T is literally an Oppo R11S with a different shape FP scanner, better SoC, 2gb more RAM and a OnePlus logo. That’s it.
Galaxy S8 is literally a Galaxy S7 with …
What do you prefer:
• Chinese servers spying you
• A clean rom
(My phone is a Oneplus 3T) 🙂
>small player
>backed by oppo
yeah if we’re going to start slapping the shill sticker on people now, you sure look like you should have one on you.
OnePlus are DEFINITELY not small. Even if they were, they totally deserve all the flak they’ve been getting so far. I’m all for supporting new players but not when they’re shit and not new at all. Hell, the 5T is literally an Oppo R11S with a different shape FP scanner, better SoC, 2gb more RAM and a OnePlus logo. That’s it.
/r/android
Hi, I’m an independent person who dislikes OnePlus. Mind pointing me in the direction where I can get paid for my opinion?
Love watching the huge tech giants (Samsung, Apple) astroturf and try to harm small players
Does it do proper dnd mode?
Op2 users, what do you prefer:
• 1 OS update
• promised 2nd OS update, but will never arrive.
The stock Touchwiz on my S8 does that too. Neat stuff
But at the same time, he doesn’t care about what makes the Android community at large happy, he really only cares about what makes his customers happy.

/r/Android really does not like Oneplus. I personally think OOS is better.
MIUI has scrolling screenshots as well.
NEXT!
Yea
Huawei’s EMUI also has it too.

52% and counting !
52% stock now!
People who only read headlines shouldn’t comment.
I agree. This is honestly childish. This isn’t Samsung Experience or EMUI, it’s near stock Android with essential features thrown in with slight design tweaks
“HaHAA, let’s fuck with the vote! Pure Android > Android with features that should be standard in current year”
I think we’re just doing it for the shits and giggles and to show that these polls mean jack shit.
It’s more similar to the way custom ROMs we’re back in the FroYo GB days. OOS adds useful features.
I am a stock Android purist but I think I’m starting to prefer OOS. The things it *does* add are useful and they kept the stock UI feel. No gimmicks for the sake of gimmicks like other UXs.
No, it’s not, it’s a shit sample. It’s still quite safe to say that oxygen os is much more popular than MIUI, seeing sampling was quite similar between the two.
> Quick poll, do you prefer;
> Symbian 40 (0%)
> Symbian 60 (100%)
Hmm…guess you’re right
Symbian 60 was better tho, I’m all for S60v3
He also “accidentally” sold your clipboard traffic to Alibaba.
Actually, it’s showing 50-50 to me now.
They made it opt-in since, but it was pretty basic device info in the first place.
The shade
Yes I have, my current phone is OnePlus 3.
I haven’t really had the negative experience on OOS 5.0 like some others claim to have. Only thing I don’t really like is the change to the ambient display, they really kinda wrecked that whole feature.
We can do it, 49%!

Quick poll, do you prefer;
* Credit card security
* Having your cc info stolen
You can change the direction of the call button now in the open beta.

For me it worked in every app i tried… I mostly use it for reddit (Boost), Chrome, Whatsapp…
I use it all the time… After taking a Screenshot click on the image top right and click on scrolling.
done
Might get some flak, but I like OOS more.
It seemed like it had better features such as dark mode, more color customization, and scrolling screenshots. I just never had an issue with it when I used it. I haven’t used OOS on Oreo yet so I’m not sure what’s changed there.
Pure Android is a beauty but you lose some features in comparison.
Where do I place my vote for Symbian 40?
But last time I tried it didn’t work in chrome but only in MIUI browser.
You literally said “Oxygen OS is shit” earlier. Can you clarify what’s so mighty about stock notification drawer?
Where?
Am I the only one who started miui because they liked the UI? I’ve run it on every phone I’ve had for years, including before they made phones.
Stock Android circlejerk is strong with this one. I personally think oxygen OS is far better than stock Oreo. Just buy a pixel if you think otherwise.
MIUI has scrolling screenshots too, tho!
It’s pretty similar, at least it was the last time I use. It adds quite a few genuinely clever and usefull features, and keeps things fairly fast and lightweight. Personally I prefer it to stock.
I love miui 9 interface.
Shots fired.
I love Xiaomi phones, don’t get me wrong, but after having tried it I can confirm from my perspective MIUI is one of the worst software abominations I’ve ever subjected myself to. Much rather use android one. It looks great… and that’s it. It doesn’t work as well.
You’re living up to your username I see. Samsung’s notification drawer is nothing like stock Oreo. OOS’s version is practically identical to stock.
It’s currently at 2500 votes with 19 hours remaining. I think they can get a decent sample size by then.
very representative – 31 votes

Well if the transitive property holds for online polls…
burrrn
Isn’t oxygenos and stock android pretty much the same? Oxygenos does not have any bloatware too and has some extra features which are not available in stock android.
