In Miui 9.x you can reenable VoLTE with \*#\*#86583#\*#\* (it was disabled for some countries, because they can not guarante the VoLTE feature will work properly). Maybe it is still working, try it out and let us know 😉
edit: spelling
They are super cheap to hire, so there’s that
What is this joke? Can anyone explain it?
Few idiots= Second Largest Xiaomi market and second most populous country in the world
Por qué no los dos
B A T T E R Y
D R A I N
I worked for LG for 4 years before leaving a couple years ago. Please don’t tell me I’m wrong. I knew the mobile industry and all the regions that roms were released for from India around the world. They included the US, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, etc including localization services. And I knew the hiring numbers for companies like Samsung, LG, etc.
Your comment is draining my mi a1 battery fast sir
So? According to that though if the Indian market wanted Android 5.0 the rom development should be stuck in it because they are “more”?
They do got the numbers but quality wise? Meh
> So?
You said a few idiots, and it was pointed out to you, India is the second most populous country in the world, almost the same as china, so it’s not “a few idiots”.
Amen. Also the side buttons are too clicky. The screen always turns on when I touch the power button!
(/uj tho, idk what that guy was going on about. I get better reception than on my Moto, and Motos are known for having the best reception on Android)
You do realize they code most of your phones.
Oh, sorry, i never realized ROM developement is not tied to money i any way. Especialy for big companies.
You are right, Xiaomi should put it’s money into ROM development even if it doesn’t pay off.
Also, they should develop SD855 phone, with 1 gb ram, with monochrome non-touch screen, operated by qwerty keyboard on the back of the phone, and only language you can select is Latin.
Point is, companies are there to earn money, if they have to choose between more money and less money. They will choose more money.
Hahaa. I’m Indian and I didn’t know this. Thanks. That’s funny. I mean I know Reliance Jio runs on VoLTE. Just didn’t know this Oreo issue. Though my mum has a Mi Y1 that runs Oreo without any issues.
Not miui, custom roms are the issue
MIUI 12 announced by NASA: “It will have dank 🅱️emes on the lockscreen and shit lmao”, says Xiaomi CEO
That’s the whole premise of outsourcing. Your point being?
help jio volte not work, jio volte pls.
Parce que oui, omlette du fromage
Ah. That makes more sense. Thanks for the clarification.
So true 😂
Oh hell yes
When Mi A1 came out last year a lot of them from India posted pseudo-reviews calling them selves as experts. lol
Who cares what the Indians want, we cannot slow down updates and rom development over a few idiots
Wrong! There are a few but not all. lol
And you develop ROMS to make money not because you like to do it out the goodness of your own heart….
So first you argue that they don’t have the numbers and now that’s debunked you switch to quality. Considering most of them code most of your phones, I guess the quality of your phones are indicative of the quality of the coders. Lol.
Oh well, as a benchmark, Sundar Pichai (Google CEO) is an Indian. So there’s one benchmark for you. At this point, I’m just beginning to feel like you’re racist against Indians? From all my corporate experience, I have found tons of good coders and bad coders in India and I suspect it is the same elsewhere. Because coding is not race dependent or gender dependent. Maybe culture does affect how coding practices evolve in specific scenarios. But to term an entire race as ‘bad coders’ is definitely leaning towards racists. I know most Koreans can’t code comment in English and there’s heavy Korean code in their native languages. Does that make them bad coders? Absolutely not.
But Jio MIUI10?
Money? we are talking ROM development here….
Well. Yes.
If most people want something, you produce that, and thats how you earn money.
