Why not create a stickied post for pic posting? It’s well and all to allow picture posts but having a dozen pic posts pop up can clutter the sub up. Otherwise you’d just end up with endless pic posts on the sub’s front page as some people might try karma whoring with them.

pinned weekly post seems like a good idea and also submitting pictures i find it valuable as one can really know how good or bad the image quality is, after all pics are submitted by real users
They are useless posts, I call them spam. The sub is now filled with pictures.
I come here to read news about xiaomi products, this is not Instagram or Flickr.

There are rules about it. I don’t know if you noticed but I posted the previous comment as moderator for a reason: the pictures are not against the rules of the sub. We will of course take into consideration any suggestions for improvements.
Obviously they can upload it, but they shouldn’t.
All of these Xiaomi phones are perfectly capable of taking excellent pictures, but most pictures that are posted here are just garbage.
I noticed, that’s why I suggested you changed the rules.
Pictures are not only cluttering the sub, they are pretty bad anyways.
You should suggest, as a mod, to whoever is responsible for the rules to change them.
Ban pictures or make a weekly thread or a new sub for pics.

Or have a pinned weekly post for them to submit all their pics. It is getting cluttered here.

Well most of them are pretty mediocre, but that doesn’t mean they can’t upload it.
And pictures are pretty bad anyway lol
Thank you for the comment but the pictures are fine. They are not spam in any literal sense (spamming a product, site, youtube channel, etc).
I hope you take this suggestion seriously. Maybe start a poll or something.

It’s the same in the sonyalpha subreddit, which is why I stopped visiting it. The picture posts are always drowning any real content.
I agree with OP they are spamming up the sub. Look at the upvote/downvotes in this post too. The majority agree with the OP, at least so far anyway.
While I also agree with OP, many of these pictures get many upvotes as well. That’s why making a sticky thread or a dedicated sub should plase both parties
I found the photos posted here to be very useful in my decision of which Xiaomi phone to buy.
