I am in dilemma right now. I have 3 option for my budget. Sorry for asking this in xiaomi subreddit
1. S25 ultra 256gb (around $1100, little bit trauma cause my 2.5 years old s22 ultra have some white screen when its hot, need to turn off 120hz adaptive mode to make it gone)
2. Vivo x200 pro 512gb ($1000, the audio sounds worse than the others. Cant take ultra, cause the price still too pricey)
3. Xiaomi 15 ultra 512gb ($1000, many peoples said bad thing about it, like ads, Xiaomi cellphone often dies completely, the camera still inconsistent)
probably need a phone that is good at zoom and low light
People have said bad things about every companies products. People have trashed iphone too so in my opinion go for Xiaomi 15 ultra.
No ads for me. superb camera, audio and screen, decent battery life. If you’re not in India dying is not too much of an issue, having iOS like notification and control center is the biggest drawback of HyperOS, the old style was nice though, miss it a lot.
I have never understood the ads concern. I have an X7 Pro and see no ads. The only phones that probably have ads are ones like the redmi 14c extremely cheap phones.
i have global EU version… no ads, all good, just lacks some china rom features coz of EU restriction and laws, hope they will not finish up with xiaomi here like with huawei…

I have an X15U and I would say the X200 Pro because it has a dedicated concert mode and the photo processing is much better in low light
About the OS, is it fine if i take global version? Cause for vivo case there are many peoples said china OS better
xiaomi best audio plus has a dolby video mode whereas deliver video on another level especially on open events like u want to record concerts… nevertheless it’s all up to you…
Xiaomi would be better for concert as S25U would have quite noisy video output quality in low light conditions. Especially since you would be zooming in quite a fair bit. S25U’s telephoto lens are not great in low light. Xiaomi’s global flagship phones have no problem with ads.
Whatever you take do watch out for their high powered lights or lazers, they are the highway to a damaged camera sensor
I have a global version. You don’t see ads on 15 Ultra like on budget Redmi devices. Sometimes the game center shows suggestions but can be uninstalled.
