Battery life

Can anyone give me tips for better battery life mi 15 ultra I charged up to 80% and it only lasted me 5 hours sot no camera used.

    Sounds about right. It’s a phone that doesn’t really have the best battery life.

    Perhaps you could be the first person to try and put a 6000mah battery in it 👌🏾

    Yeah it’s probably still “learning”. We shall see. If you can’t return it, buy a genuine Xiaomi 6000mah battery and see.

    I was expecting at least 6 to 7 hours sot disappointed.

    Restricting YouTube added several hours of SOT for me. You can get much better numbers.

    Not possible for me to replace battery and stuff but I don’t expect 6000 to be much better

    Right! My 15 ultra has been incredible as far as battery life goes.

    I just got the 15 ultra the other day and the battery life has been amazing. I ended up with over 8 hours of screen on time before I charge the phone and it wasn’t even that low. 30% or so. 

    Did you do a fresh install or did you bring over files from a previous phone?

    Since day one, I’ve been super impressed! It sounds like to me there is an app in the background drawing power. Could be due to location; running any weather apps?

    It has better battery life than just about any phone, wtf.

    How long have you had the phone? I’m still on my 3rd charge cycle now. Apparently it does improve after about a month’s time of usage

    It’s only early days for me, but I’ve had very average battery life. Have a look on the Xiaomi reddit and you’ll see others haven’t had the best battery life either.

    What SoT do you get? I was in between the 15 ultra and OP13 but got the OP on a deal for 650€ so it was a no brainer for me.

How much battery life you guys are getting on Mi 15 ultra and is their any way to get more out of battery?

    I have been getting good battery life, used the phone for 12 hours straight for normal calls and online 5g data speeds for like 3 hours, and my battery life is at 50%. My phone is a global version, but I imported mine directly from china. Sometimes I leave my house with the WiFi on and data on and listen to music, and find my phone’s charge has moved to 99% after two hours of just listening to music. I guess my battery life is fine.

    not very good, I make sure it is charged to 80% in the morning, barely lasts me through the day having more than 20% left. The photography kit seems quite useful now as a power bank. Limiting backgroud activity and browsing less social media do help.

    There is. You can use Android Debloater Next Gen to remove some useless background apps that comes with the phone. Just filter by ‘Recommended,’ read the descriptions, and remove apps according to your preference.

    Same I charge it to 80% and by end of day 20% is left by any means it’s not bad but I mean their is clearly some optimization need here. Did u submit feedback to xiaomi regarding this?

    I don’t bother with the 20%-80% rule, I use my phone as the flagship it is, I’ve been getting 14hrs+ of SOT, I can get through a whole day with 40% left the next day.

    I had horrible battery life when I newly got the phone, I was babying it too much, then I let my phone die and charged it back up to 100%, it seemed to have improved my SOT.

    You could try buying the replacement 6000mah battery and fit it into your 15 ultra👌🏾.

    Oh nice rest everything is good in this phone except battery I am thinking they need to push one software optimizing battery life drain is like 9% per hour.
