The system itself doesn’t have ads, but some of the preinstalled apps have (which others have mentioned in other comments like mi video, music…). You can disable the ads in the settings for those or just not use them since they’re easily replaceable with alternatives.
Not on Indian version xiaomi 14 definitely not on 15/15 ultra. Only thing need to check is disable get apps.
There’s no ads in the system, only in some apps like music player(Wich you can disable in litteraly 3 seconds)
My Xiaomi 15 had no ads whatsoever, only ad pages I found were in their music app, file manager and themes, there’s options to easily turn those off.
Does xiaomi 15 ultra have ads in system ads😭
I want to buy xiaomi 15 ultra if it has no ads in system apps it is good choice
Tldr;
There are no ads in system apps, settings menu, gui.
I wish there was a sticky on this thread covering this topic.
From my experience (I have the ultra), there are no ads apart from 4 apps:
1. Themes app: I got a font recommendation push notification once, I turned notifications off for the app since the I got no recommendations. Within the app there are no ads.
2. Mi video: I rarely used it. It is the default video player app. i got no ads whatsoever apart from the shorts video tab ,which could be considered an ad. You can disable the app completely in the settings.
3. App mall: I got no notification advertisment, but I consider the whole gui of the app as one. It is disgusting and obselete just like the galaxy store on sammys. Its sole purpose is to update system apps from within the settings menu. Apart from that, It won’t bother with ads.
4. Mi browser: I never used it (idk who does), but heard others experience ads within the app and through notifications. I turned off the notifications for the app, cleared the cache and data, uninstalled all updates. Never got any notifications from it
Not in the system itself, only in some of their pre-installed bloatware. All can be turned off or alternative apps used.
