Why do some of my applications, when I close them and they go into the background, and then I come back to them, not stay on the same page? For example, on Telegram, I very often have to go back to my friend’s chat room because it automatically switches to a different chat. Xiaomi 14 T Pro.

How long are you talking about, between switching to another app and coming back to find that it has reopened from scratch? Because it might be a lot of things, but likely a battery saving feature that can be turned off on app settings.
