Xiaomi was the only constructor without the app drawer so…
you can install Poco launcher or any other launcher.
but if like me you prefer the stock MIUI kernel ou have to get the Xiaomi eu beta rom, not the stable. download the latest beta rom from their site and install it with the MIUI update (choose a update package) and install it. you will not loose any data or anything it’s like a regular update.
I prefer the MIUI one anyway

You can just install the “Poco Launcher”. This is just the integration in the system, of that launcher (always made by xiaomi)

yes, I was with the beta MIUI launcher that have the app drawer, I work perfectly but now it’s directly in the rom without any change

Lawmchair with lawnstep is the best of the best, you wont get better closing and open animations in any other launcher.
The alphanumeric scrollbar makes it look so similar to Huawei’s EMUI launcher. Huawei’s EMUI has a reputation for having questionable design choices such as absurdly outdated and large icons. Not to mention, some parts of EMUI looks like a failed/blatant copy of iOS elements.

That’s real, it does reset sometimes. But I’m so used to it right now that I can’t see myself using any other launcher
I just discover smart launcher, it look nice but I prefer MIUI one

Lawnstep is called quickswitch now. Best of the best. Of course, not compatible with nova.
don’t know but it’s weird on their site the latest stable rom is MIUI 10.3, some phone have MIUI 10.5. you can try beta without wiping your system with the built in updater tool (download latest beta rom on their site and install it via ”choose a update package”

It really depends on what you need/want in a launcher. I have a Surface Pro tablet and it’s a pretty good integration between it and my phone
I’ve been using the poco launcher and honestly its pretty neat. Never really found anything bad about it but I’m happy Xiaomi finally decided to put an app drawer by default

I’ve been using Microsoft launcher over a year now and I’ve got to say its pretty neat. App drawer, quick access to Microsoft services (notes etc), side drawer with shortcuts to news, email, recent chats, documents, emails, contacts and more.
You can also use cortrana, Microsoft weather and connect your phone with your Windows device to gain instant access to sms or contacts.
if you want to be sure to not have bug, go stable just flash via the updater app. I’m on Mi8 I can’t see any bug, only that the official note app can’t launch, it crash at the launch. this really bother my I just it a lot, but it’s not with this version, it’s been for a month, and even with a complete reflash the note app don’t work. but that it

I’m more of a stock Android guy and I don’t find MIUI offensive at all. Personally, I think MIUI is the best-looking non-stockish skin for Android. Not to mention, MIUI’s gesture navigation is miles ahead compared to whatever the fools at Google are making with Android 10.

there is no ads in Xiaomi eu. and I thinks if you set your region to a Europe one there is no ads
