MIUI 12 and lots of fucking bugs… name a more iconic duo
So nothing can be done? 😭😭. Its been 1 hour and still restarting
you should back your data up in the cloud and fingers crossed… a factory reset may solve your problem
Should I hold off on updating it for now?
this happen to me once and it was the lock button being stuck sometimes
This might be a long shot, but I remember something similar with my Mi 9 SE. Try removing the SIM card and restarting the phone and see if the bootloop persists
I cant even back up data, it just keeps restarting before backup is finish
Hold volume up during start and you’ll get to recovery mode. Follow the on-screen instructions to factory reset it. Unfortunately all data will be lost, but it will surely fix it. Unless the power button is stuck🤔
please leave MIUI and go for some awesome custom roms which will make your device more powerful
Follow this for poco f2 pro: [https://forum.xda-developers.com/poco-f2-pro/development/evolution-x-4-7-poco-f2-pro-redmi-k30-t4174429](https://forum.xda-developers.com/poco-f2-pro/development/evolution-x-4-7-poco-f2-pro-redmi-k30-t4174429)
I had this exact issue on my RN8P running MIUI 12.0.2 Global, a month ago. Phone was stuck in such s Bootloop for over 30mins. Only way to get out of it was to go into Mi Recovery (power button + vol up) and choosing a restart. Problem persisted for a week though, and since then nothing.
Lesson learnt. I had a pretty smooth transition from MIUI 9 through 11. Sure there were a few bugs, but nothing annoying. Xiaomi seems to have rushed into launching the 12. Now, with every update my hope that it would get rid of a few existing bugs is high, but will try to be patient.
Miui 12 has been problematic or its just me?
I have the same problem for the mi 8 lite miui 12 XD
if you can’t fix it reset the phone
Xiaomi being Xiaomi ….
Wait for the battery to drain and try again
In my case, I thought it might be the phone’s software. It turned out it was the power button who was broken
EASIEST FIX EVER GO TO DEVELOPER SETTINGS toggle keep device screen on while charging,
Do this after the battery fully dies and you charge from 0%
Fixed it for me if not reset phone using recovery menu.
If you need more help let me know
That’s how you get your accounts hacked. Don’t skip updates until you’re 100% sure they’re broken.
Change the teme
Switching from the Live Earth wallpaper fixed it for me on my Mi9.
Dunno if it was a coincidence..
My weather app stopped working since I updated to 12.0.3 stable
It says my app.was.downloaded from unofficial source and can’t be started.
Had to redownload it .
Nope, bought one for my girlfriend months ago, I put it straight on Xiaomi EU stable though as soon as I could unlock the bootloader. Would recommend it.
In your video though I can’t tell if it’s hard rebooting or soft rebooting. I think it’s doing a hard reboot because it goes through all the animations but I’m not 100% sure.
F2 Pro has literally 0 non MIUI ROMs
That being said, the Xiaomi.eu custom ROMs are great! I’m running MIUI 12.0.8 for this phone and it’s awesome!
Edit: just saw an xda link for a custom rom, and someone mentioned there have been an explosion of ROMs for this device. I’ll check because I may be flashing this weekend!
I had it once haha, but just once and that’s it
makes sense.
Is this an excuse to expose yourself to a security risk?
It worked😂😂…
Was thinking of doing that but i wanted to wait after warranty expired
*theme*. 😚😚
Same on mi 9 lite since updating to miui 12.
Was about to post the same issue
If I ever buy a Xiaomi phone again first thing I’ll do is deleting that shitty ass MIUI and install havoc , PE or any another rom.
MIUI is utter crap
If I’m not mistaken Xiaomi won’t void your warranty if you root your phone n change the ROM. Correct me if I’m wrong tho ~
If safetynet wasn’t an issue i would have done that. Many apps i use require that. Phones like mi9 has hardware attestation activated so magisk can’t pass safetynet. I don’t when google will enable it for the rest of the device.
My phone restarted when I applied a Lil pressure
Ya not 7 pro is also acting same
somehow you only see the bad sides of MIUI 12 in this subreddit but I have never had any big issues apart from a few small bugs
Nope, no damage. Its okay now. Hope doesnt happen again
Try to see if you have a MIUI update or something while you don’t have the SIM in there. At the time that solved my problem
What MiUI are you running on your RN8Pro now? Are they stable?
Same problem!! Any solutions found?
