well I have a Redmi Note 5, it has burn in everywhere, and a really bad LCD. I have to use KCAL and modified Kernels to solve it
Well I have one Gt1 non Pro version, and it doesn’t lag at all when playing games! Actually, the phone only lag when I pass through a specifically place in my neighborhood, which is kinda strange, but it’s the only moment that it lags. Playing, chat on discord, it all goes pretty well. Oh and the audio is kinda low, on the Whyred (RN5P)
Bored with overall design I suppose, nothing new. Never been a fan of the curved displays and the hole punch started getting on my nerves.
Pop up cameras look cheap af though
Mi 9 SE for sure
RN8P says hi
Sorry for the late reply bud. I did get it just a couple of days ago. You have to keep refreshing your updater app like every 2 hours to notice the update.
Only down side is how the lens unit is not flush with the body.
Let’s be honest though, the design is simply an iPhone clone.
It’s a worthy replacement for the Sony compacts I had for years after Sony stopped making them.
Nope, runs PUBG fine.
I was hoping a phone having dimensions like Mi A3/CC9e with the configuration of Mi CC9/ 9 LITE .
The Redmi 4 Prime was a legend 🙁
For me, a phone with a notch could never be at the top aesthetically.
That’s what she said!
I’ll see myself out…
I like the Oneplus 7 better, It has similar style but the camera Is in the center without trying to copy the iPhone X camera, and back glass is less curved
Getting it next week. Feels good to see such comments.
Next fucking level, mate! Cheers 😂
That’s why I bought the RN7 Moonlight White. It is the most elegant and premium of the series.
Not unpopular at all, but the Mi 9 series is so GD stunning, I’m gonna upvote anyway.
Just got the blue Mi 9 Lite and holyyyyyy smokes – it’s absolutely gorgeous
Mi 9T is beautiful, for me this is the best design a phone can have. Like the OnePlus 7T, or Huawei Y9 Prime, just perfect. Notches suck, they annoy me as fuck
The black one looks great
But the blue and red ones look so cheap up close it has a grainy kinda pixelated look you get on your screen when you use a cheap screen protector
I went from a Galaxy S10 to a OnePlus 7 Pro to a Mi 9T here in the US also…oddly, this is one of my favorite phones by far.
Curved screens are nice to look at but not very good in real world use. I have had the Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S8, Galaxy S10, Oneplus 7 Pro…currently using the Mi 9T. I would take a flat screen display any day.
Not to mention, its a pain in the butt to find good screen protectors for curved displays.
@\_@
I love the weight. Battery is fine for me. All newer models are +200 grams (although with bigger battery).
Well, they sad about tastes.
I actually love curved corners.
Would you believe me if said I used them for jogging as well??
Among xiaomi, it’s true.
I have a Mi 9 SE
The black note7 looks great though.
If you’re talking about the whitish-pinkish one that looks similar to the Opal color on new Samsung phones then I agree, they are pretty stunning. As far as overall body design I think the Mix 3 is superior, although the colors aren’t as striking.
Yes the battery and the touch interface points won it for me
Ha ha. Very funny but honestly it’s smaller than it looks, I’ve never had a problem putting it in any of my pockets
Damn.. I can’t do that as I already ordered it and it feels like an upgrade over the Redmi airdots… So I will take my chances… But thank you so much for your experience .
I’ve received them yesterday. I used Redmi Airdots before and honestly i can’t see that huge of a difference but since the price is pretty much the same i’d tell you to go with the Haylou. The Pro version has a 800mAh case which was the reason why i got them.
Yeah? I might get the redmi airdots then. Haylou’s lag really annoys me
And really does it lag every time you play games with those on ? Because I am a casual pubg player but I do need the audio also while playing… I played the game with my friends Redmi airdots and the sound wasn’t lagging while playing the game..
Ok thanks
Your mileage may vary
What does YMMV means tho… Sorry don’t know :/
I saw that a device has problems with its processor, is stuck in PUBG or games with heavy requirements.
Do you need an additional bag to carry it?
The Mi 9T is the prettiest phone I’ve ever seen.
Not gonna complain about a case that helped my phone survive flying off my bike at 60 km/h and getting dropped off a two-floor high cliff though
that’s one ugly ass case wow
Optimal protection, and a great conversation starter. I’ve been using cases like this one since my iPhone 7 Plus
K20 Pro FTW
I just love my 9SE!
Hopefully this little beauty doesn’t get abandoned too early
…why
Mi 9 lite is the best all around phone going right now especially for the price
The blue version looks awesome
I have one, I like it very much. Not sure if it physically looks better than the Mi Mix 3 however. The Mi Mix 3 felt more solid and has better heft on the hand.
Huh. I actually kinda like the notch, and absolutely can’t stand pop-up cameras. I’d rather have a Mi Mix 3 slider. So for me it’s notch>punch hole>slider>just give me a whole forehead if you must
Well you have to agree that MI 9t looks much better without the notch. But I prefer hole punch over pop up camera. So for me hole punch > pop up > notch of any kind.
Not a fan of the teardrop?
Modified from an iPhone XS Max case https://imgur.com/a/nFkP7pi
Yeah it’s pretty big but if you have a case it doesn’t matter that much.
From the back side, yes. From the front side, no.
I have never seen a burn-in on any smartphone and I used opx for 4 years.
The Mi 9 lite pearly white has one of the best looking mid rangers I have seen ever to be honest.
Totally agree. That piano black (or even blue/lavander shades) and that reflector circle are something you don’t see easily on other phones.
The Mi 8 Lite did get it, I got it, I however, am using MiRoom thought, they use the china versions of MIUI.
If my Mi 9T had slightly less curved corners, there’s a good chance it’d be my favourite phone design yet.
What’s your case?
Maybe ymmv but they lag for me when gaming on my poco and switch. Great for non-gaming stuff though
Mi Mix 3 in Onyx black for me, really like FSD and choosing when the front camera is available
During gaming yes, for PUBG and Call of Duty Mobile, the phone gets easily hot.
The liquid cooling helps dissipate the heat more faster.
I also have a Mi 8 lite, did you get MIUI 11 on it?
Why did you switch from an S10+?
That’s definitely a beautiful device too yea
But that camera bumb on the back.. I dunno
Yea but that’s actually not a Xiaomi Mi but a Redmi K20. I agree with your opinion on the aesthetics of the Mi9T/K20 but what about the ‘real’ Mi9 from Xiaomi? The camera bumb really puts me off
I consider buying of mi 9 lite. Any thoughts on the phone? I still consider SE and Lite. But I’m still thinking with one is better.
I got a Mi9T Pro and honestly even tho the back glass (I got pearl white) and the notchless screen looks really nice, I’m really not a huge fan of the 48MP camera being in a separate glass from the other two. That shit doesn’t really look good. Also I’d rather have the camera on the side like Mi9.
I guess I wish we had a phone with the T battery, T screen and popup camera, and Mi9 back glass and wireless charging
Ok thanks
Xiaomi is definitely a contender, especially with their business model of supplementing phone sales with ads. Personally, I have the Mi 8 Lite and the Mi series is definitely looking good, both aesthetically and performance-wise. My next phone will be a Mi series also.
Not first hand opinion, but two of my colleagues have them and they praise them for good fit and sound. One of them needed to raise bass in equalizer but besides that they are great. I have QCY t2s and they fit worse, they go too far into ear canal. Redmi airdots and Gt1 are the best for that, not too far not too shallow.
I got 9se originally and the small screen just doesn’t do amoled justice. I switched to Mi9t and I have really small hands and it’s still very easily manageable with one hand.
I got the Mi 9t two weeks ago. Definitely the best phone I’ve ever had. The pop up camera is a great conversation starter!
Yeah I was saying mix 2s won’t have burn in because it isn’t an amoled screen
In terms of design, yes, the Mi 9 SE is the best one for me. Mi 9 Lite is not bad either, but it’s not the best.
Do you really need the liquid cooling? I didn’t think it would get too hot.
Off the topic , but as I saw your flair included “Haylou GT1 pro” I gotta ask… How is the Earphones ? (Fit in the ear , audio quality , battery life) and does it have any extra features if it is paired with a Xiaomi phone ? (I am currently using Redmi note 5 Pro — Whyred)
As I have also ordered this thing from China as I thought it was better than the Redmi airdots
Nah the original Mi 9 still looks best. I have a great phone case, but still love holding it bare
Agreed, my Mi 9 Lite is a beautiful piece of hardware.
I really wish they did the same hardware as the 9 but just the smaller form factor. Its really hard to get good hardware and a phone that can be used one handed.
Yea just too big though.
No Note 10 has curved screen. I like that more
Picked up the mi9t pro on Amazon for 350 same day delivery in US. Have not been disappointed switched from S10+.
I’m still rocking my Mi Mix 2S, no notch and no screen burn-in! Front camera placement is dumb but I don’t take selfies so whatever.
I really like the looks. It’s very minimal and clean.
But the small battery, lack of liquid cooling and the lack of headphone jack turned me off, so I sold it then got a K20 Pro.
Grey back in Mi A3/CC9e, Mi 9 lite/CC9 is stunningly beautiful. Much better than all colors presented on RNote 7/8.
White backs are great as well on most phones
Mi 9T bezelless design
9se was gorgeous, but i will always prefer hardware over design
Mi 9 Lite £175 is best for me, probably followed by the Mi A3 £117. Both have an excellent spec to cost ratio in my opinion. Nice Amoleds, decent batteries, SD cards, good cameras.
