Is genshin playable on the note 10 pro op?
How! I get 7 hrs average using YouTube and Social media 🙁
And here i am with crippled battery life on my mi 10 running miui 12.5.2
5 hrs 19 mins SoT with 53% battery remaining.
2 hrs PUBG
2 hrs YouTube
1 hr Chrome and other.
Incredible that’s with playing PUBG too.
Hello guys, i have bouth Mi 11 Lite a few months ago , and my battery is draining fast , idk why. In battery settings android system is taking 20% of battery , idk if its normal , but I’ve seen that in other people the android system doesn’t use the battery at all. Sorry if my english is bad , but i need help. Thanks!
The only good thing I got out of upgrading my software is private dns, everything else went for the worse
That’s a huge shame on Xiaomi.. I mean both my and your phones are extremely good in terms of hardware, build, camera, pretty much everything, but this software is just killing every single good experience these phones have to offer…
I really hope this will soon be fixed, since it’s 100% software issue and it can be fixed.
YouTube premium for free.
Yes I do have a sim card in it. Yes it’s a Redmi Note 10 Pro.
I was also thinking between the poco x3 pro and the redmi note pro and in the end I chose the redmi. The only thing that the poco has over the redmi is 5G
Yes it’s plenty! I was able to buy my redmi on eBay for £180 while the poco was over £250.
Yeah for me 120Hz is not worth the extra battery consumption. Especially when lots of apps don’t support 120Hz it feels annoying when the phone is constantly switching back and forth between 60 and 120Hz.
Also I feel if I get used to 120Hz, all other devices will feel terrible, like my laptop for example.
For me it’s the Note 10 Pro because it’s OLED. I can’t go back to an LCD for a phone, especially when using it at night. The Poco has a much better chip so I guess if you want to play games on high settings it would be much better.
Yup, same.
Ouhhh that explains it
Yeah I use 60Hz.
12.5.1.0. Global. Yeah I would have got the Mi11/11 Ultra had it not had the SD 888. That chip eats battery.
What’s your secret?
It helps being in all day using wifi.
Which version of MIUI did you use? Btw, I’m going to buy this phone next month… Is it worth?
Funnily enough I was almost gonna get a used 1ii because of the camera. But then I saw the Redmi at half the price, with better battery life and a bigger screen and thought having an better camera is not worth sacrificing all of that for.
Oh great! Thanks mate😁
Totally agree, best phone I ever had except for the abysmal battery life and it 100% shouldn’t be that way.
>I\_Gnutz
Mine is EATING my battery, android system taking up to 35% XD
Very nice! can u tell me a lil about youtube vanced?
I am on Mi 11 Lite 5G, 12.5.5 , like i can’t hit 5 hrs of SoT, its just impossible even on 60hz.. do you think new update will fix this huge drain by android system?
nice stat. I achieved 12 hours sot watching YouTube 12 hours and remain 43%. xiaomi mi 10t user here.
Ahh makes sense now
Yep. I don’t find the trade off in battery life to be worth it. Plus if I get used to 120Hz, everything else will inevitably feel terrible in comparison.
Hello ,me again ,first of all thanks for reply, i have another question. Does somebody knows when will be the next MIUI update because this is not acceptable, i have a like 5h 30mins SOT with active using(nothing really hard like gaming : PUBG or other games) only Google, Tiktok and few games like clash royale, clash of clans…? Thanks
Which android version it cane with 9 or 10 ??
Redmi Note 8 Pro, bought at launch, started with MIUI 10. Pretty sure it did not have private DNS at the time
MIUI 11 brought private dns, but Mi Music went to shit. Thankfully I had an old apk backup so it was ok
MIUI 12 straight up banned old apk versions. I regret upgrading every single day
5h SOT Mi11 reporting in
Yes definitely. I came from a Pixel 3 so the battery life is great. I was going to get a Samsung/Sony/another well established brand but for the price the Redmi Note 10 Pro just seems like the best deal. Big battery, OLED screen 120Hz, phone jack, IP rating.
12.5.1.0 Global.
Yes, it’s very good value.
Some other guy told me about Gcam too. What is it? And thanks too
60Hz does nothing… It’s just same sub-4 sot time for me._.
I have no clue if they’ll fix anything, I had this phone with 12.5.4 and it was the same as with this new EE update, so no hopes.
how is the OLED screen quality?
is true. using data, sot probably cut into half. especially if the signal is bad.
Bro I’m literally getting it in the next 2 weeks. I reeeaaally hope it’s true. Also I would appreciate it if you can share your experience with me (Performance, Display and camera wise) and would you recommend it to me? Thnx
The Mi 11 is better in virtually every way except battery life. Smaller battery + the hot 888 chip.
Why you don’t have Andoird System in this list?
Just the Google camera app, but used on a non-Google phone. Referred to as Gcam. I’ve not put it on my Note 10 Pro so I’m not sure where to download it from yet.
Mi 11i, 12.5 EE
How does the Mi 11 compare with this anyone :))?
What phone and what MIUI?
My RN10 pro has the same battery as my previous RNo pro, yet I’m not impressed with its autonomy. Don’t get me wrong, it’s ok, but it was definitely better on RN9 pro which at had basically the same cpu and LCD panel. On Redmi phones, the autonomy is stellar until you start turning off the battery optimizations on per app basis.
Being home all day. When I go out all and use 4G instead, I won’t get close to this.
IDK, some guys on this post are saying they can only get 5hrs SoT on the mi11.
The SD888 chip seems to be power hungry. That’s why I chose not to get a 2021 flagship. Had the mi11 not used an 888, I would have gotten it.
Miui 12.0.2 is ideal. Excellent battery life & no hiccups. Upgrading seems to degrade battery life as well as performance.
You wouldnt believe it, an official xiaomi service centre told me not to update my 2 year old Redmi 6 pro!
Oh so that’s on MIUI 12 Enhanced. Not out here for me yet, hopefully battery life should improve even more.
That’s crazy. Custom ROM or anything special?
Are you 60hz?
37% rn with 5 hours 40 mins of screen on time only gaming was a light weight game called brawl stars I also have note 10 Pro idk how everyone gets so good screen on time r u on 60hz?
nope. everything is original. check out the post. just running it on wifi and voila! at 1st I tot is remaining 3% but it is indeed 43% left. brightness and volume at 70%. watching Hong Kong drama in YouTube in 480p and few episodes on 720p. after screen shot of that, friends calling me for mobile legend which I flat out my battery in 3 hours due to ultra setting and maximum brightness. wanna screen shot it to make the updated post to 15 hours sot but automatically shutdown because 0% is faster than my hands … lolz
which version is better? I am in 12.0.16 and I find the battery good in wifi, the phone lasted 10 hrs 21. (Redmi note 10 pro)
I’m on wifi all day too, have you not put a sim card at all? Also, device is Redmi Note 10 Pro, right?
Yeah price was the deciding factor. Literally half price and new.
The only games I play are Arena of valor, you reckon I can get 5-6+ hrs SoT with fhd+ 120hz, some games/youtube video/browsing? :>
I think it’s good. Have a look at my reply to another person that asked me about the phone.
Ikr.. I have been using it for the past 6 months and the battery doesn’t seem to degrade at all
Hey fella, using Mi 11 Lite 5G for a month now and exactly the same issue, 25-30% android system, sometimes even more… Welcome to the MIUI!!
We hope that this will be fixed soon, we can hope at least… i pretty much tried every single solution except custom rom, that i didn’t tried. Everything i tried so far, nothing seem to help, so our best bet is just to wait for update that MIGHT fix.
It’s ok I get around 5h sot with 90hz always on ….
sure it does. try change your region to get the update faster.
No idea.
Edit: is there something wrong with my phone?
I’m on MIUI 12.5.1.0 Global, maybe it doesn’t show it on this version?
Important factors missed by the posts here. To have longer battery life, turn off unnecessary parts of the smartphone. No battery draining screen displays, monitoring applications, notifications, no 120 Hz screen speed, and careful use of the wifi, and GSM, wireless & other links.
On the wifi, avoid using, if possible. If used, use the battery saver frequency, rather than the draining higher frequencies. If wifi & GSM, have the other router or transmitter not too far from the smartphone, electronically. Poor radio signals force the smartphone to decode and amplify the bad radio signal, at the expense of battery life.
Audio is better on FM radio, for battery life. Video is better if stored in the micro SD card, or in the phone memory area, saving the battery cost in wireless transmission.
Yes definitely. I came from a Pixel 3 so the battery life is great. I was going to get a Samsung/Sony/another well established brand but for the price the Redmi Note 10 Pro just seems like the best deal. Big battery, OLED screen, 120Hz, phone jack, IP rating, stereo speakers.
I play PUBG on my preferred settings: smooth and highest frame rate the game allows on the device. I get 40 FPS, some frame drops but that’s when my WiFi is bad. Doesn’t get hot and as you can see doesn’t use too much battery.
Display is very good. Much brighter than my Pixel 3 and it being OLED was why I dedicated to get it over other Xiaomi phones which are mostly LCD. The minimum brightness is very low too and there’s no black crush unlike the Pixel 3, so it’s good for using with the lights out.
I think on balance the camera is similar to the Pixel 3. In the day time, the 108mp shots are so detailed, but the Pixel 3 was much better in low light. I think you can get Gcam for the Note 10 Pro however, which should mean the camera is overall better than the Pixel 3.
