The beautiful milky way shot on the xiaomi mi 10 ultra (sadly there was a cloudy night)
It was a cloudy night but I still got a good shot I think.

S20 ultra can do it too
YESSS I’m excited to see it omg
I can’t believe how far technology has come to be able to do this DNNFBFJ
I’ll be awaiting your photos!!! :DDD
One day, maybe we’ll have a fully FULLY waterproof phone and we can just take pictures of the ocean too 🙂
Yeah it is! Its not a photo of the galaxy core (But soon I will photograph that too) and it was a cloudy night but with some techniques its possible to capture the mysterious universe 😀
Do you know if this works with note 7? Ty!
This is actually insane, so this is THE milkyway, caught on a phone camera? How is this even possible with a PHONEEE
THIS IS SO COOL
Looks nice!
The Mi 10 Ultra can do that though. That latest Huawei Flagship and the Mi 10 Ultra are probably the only phones that can properly do that as of the moment
You can with the right settings and a zoom capable phone. Just set the iso and shutter manually to adjust for the light, or some phones have an automatic moon mode which does the same thing (setting high shutter and low-ish iso because the moon is very bright)
I hope it is possible to get a similar one with my mi 9 lite
Awesome
my shot by Note 7 Pro: https://imgur.com/gallery/kSGaR0f
But we still can’t get a decent picture of the moon.
Used a tripod and a star tracker but the night was too cloudy to get better shots :/
I did a couple of shots like this with the 120€ redmi7, and they turned out quite well – was on a hillside on the Azores though, which means d a r k nights.
thanks you for answering. i’m definitely gonna try this
Set Up extra Long exposure time (couple of seconds), delayed start (1s) and just put it Frontside down (or use another form stand). Voilà!
At least that’s how I did it. You’ll need a very low background light place though.
Who would have thought it would be possible to take a photo of the milky way with a smartphone a few years ago?
how did you do this 😯
Nope, xiaomi camera app. But I also use gcam and next time I will try that one.
Cool!
