to unlock bootloader i need to put my phone number on the mi account thing and it needs a phone number so it sends an SMS but the thing is I don’t have a phone number because I didint recharge and it got sold smth like that so I can’t lol, besides it will probably be super buggy, and for mi 7 it’s expected by the end of the year so I hope it drops sooner than later

Mi 9T Pro. that’s with maybe 80% of the time on wifi 20% on mobile data, with bluetooth and location always turned on.
Jeez synch uses that much battery? Glad I don’t use it.. my screen uses like 50% alone though.

You forgot the tinfoils hat that urge you to fully debloat or change rom even if you are ok with xiaomi’s bloatware (and you openly say so).

You dont have to update, you can even disable the updater app.
The issue is when you update by curiosity and get F’d up with an antirollback rom.

I disagree to a certain degree though. You buying Xiaomi stuff, in combination with the products having a high quality, is the best kind of marketing they can get. It’s basically free advertising for them and brings them sustainable revenue and growth of trust.
