I used to be able to watch 8k videos on YouTube but now there is just 4k available. Is it because of the update I downloaded? Can someone help me please?

why would you need 8k on a screen that isn’t even 4k
How can anybody appreciate 8k videos on 2k display ? And you didn’t mention update you downloaded.
You need neither 8k nor 4k as even if the display was able to do that resolution, your eyes would not be able to tell the difference in such a small screen.
You have enough bandwidth to watch 8K videos?

Where do you see if you have enough bandwidth? All I know is that I used to be able to watch them 8k videos
Download YouTube vanced and it will let you change resolutions on there
Ok I will try that. But I’m still wondering why it suddenly stopped showing the 8k option in YouTube. I think it’s the os update on my phone but I’m not sure.
